if u ever wondered what going to that magical concert was like. goto bethel woods. i guarantee youll have chills n feel the experience while u are there. its amazing!
Wow what a performance by Santana!...One of the best shows I ever experienced with a few friends. Great selection of hits, tributes to many greats, and a way tight band of 10...including son Salvador on keyboard and rap, and wife Cindy Blackman-Santana who blew everyone away on drums! Was worth going back to the garden for this show alone! Peace
I was there for it! Unbelievable. I get a season pass every year since I only live with in 20 mins. Unfortunately due to this stupid virus no concerts this yr!. Ig you have never been there PLEASE go. So beautiful and the people are wonderful
I was there for the 50th Anniversary. I was also there at the original Woodstock Festival. I wrote a book entitled, "We are Woodstock". Read the synopsis on Amazon and if you like it, buy it. It's a nice read with lots of information, but given to you in a novel form. Katherine Boyd on the Classic Vinyl XM station loved it and mentioned it on her show and the Woodstock Museum carries it. Thanks Ed for a little remembrance.
thanks for putting this up me and some friends traveled about 300 miles for this show and it was great not gonna lie I wasn't feeling the doobie brothers but Santana Kicked fuckin ass 100% was bad ass rock
Great show. Opening with Soul Survivor reallt got the mood right. One dream; Greg Rolle was there the night before with Ringo. What a moment if it could have been if he came out and did a song or two with Carlos.
Great memories - what a perfomance it was. From the moment they played the rain chant and made their entrance it was an incredible, infinitely varied show. I attended all three (actually 4) days of the 50th anniversary at Bethel. I wrote about it here: bangnzdrum.blogspot.com/2019/08/my-woodstock-50th-anniversary-diary.html
this is what woodstock 50 should be. not some lame, bloated coachella-wannabe festival that costs a lot of money at sites that might not carry too many people. woodstock should just be a celebration and if they're going to have woodstock 100. have the festival be a 5, 10-year anniversary thing and at bethel woods where the original site. the only thing that organizers have to figure out is the parking situation. there's already a stage, a suitable venue, nice landscapes, a museum nearby, and locals that will help out as long as they get something out of it. better than trying to spend hundreds of millions and end up with nothing. if NIN decides to do a performance at bethel woods to celebrate their legendary performance at woodstock '94. i'll be there as long as there's clean water and good food around and no drugs.

From the Italian Alps. I was there with my son, touched on the lawn of 1969, unforgettable evening.
Peace, everyone.
An excellent medley... THANK you! I was there... it was fantastic. Carlos Rules
Great job on this video
