I have read the entire book series, honestly speaking, millions of readers will have millions of depictions or interpretations of this WuXie character. However, I want to express my appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Zhu Yilong for bringing Wu Xie, a book character, vividly to live. At least, Mr. Zhu Yilong 's professional actings fulfilled my imagination of Wu Xie. In this section of the book series , Wu Xie has become mature and competent, but he is still that kind and naughty little boy with integrity. At same time, he realized that he doesn't have much time left. 10 years of resting from previous instabilities, this " Reboot" marked as a new start, but also an "ending." Wu Xie in this section of the series is designated with different emotional features. Mr. ZhuYilong successfully and precisely act it all out, his acting is full of intangible qualities: blinking of the eye, the faint hint of a smile - these series of tiny moments that could take an entire paper to describe. Something I've been finding fascinating is his acting is full of surprise, there just doesn't seem to be enough appropriate vocabularies to put into words, because it is all about feelings and experiencing. I am more than halfway through this drama, looking forward to the upcoming episode as well as next season!

All I can say, in the book, to readers it is not a bad ending, but the drama may change. not like the previous drama series, the screenwriter for this drama series is the writer himself, and the writer has a bad habit of leaving a story midway or giving an open ending, which are reader's bug. So....... it could be anything.
For a viewer who does not the background of Wu Xie, Zhu YiLong's depiction of the role is the best. I mean through his role I know what kind of a person Wu Xie is. Even in the face of death, he is stubborn, intelligent, cocky and with a unbreakable spirit. He is also sweet talker and he cares about the people around him. No wonder everybody wants to protect him. Just like all the roles he has played, Zhu Laoshi has completely immersed himself in this role, so much that he is no longer Zhu YiLong but Wu Xie. He is trying to make sense in that crazy world... Hats off to him.
I'm very happy so far this reboot is going smoothly~ Many many emotions flouring out especially with Wu Xie's health condition. I'm also happy that Zhu Yilong can pictured grown up Wu Xie very well~ He's superb as always ♥️ Thank you for everyone hard works. Thank you Wenella for the subs. ♥️
