Thanks for the review! This bag isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I have been looking for a bag with internal water bottle pocket with separate laptop/ipad sleeve.
Got it on preorder. It's deffo missing a couple things I'd like (top access quick pocket being one, feel like there's space there). Don't think it needed all those attachment points inside the main compartment. A slip pocket or mesh pocket on the back might have been useful
I was hoping they'd offer a 12L X-Pac version or a 16-18L option for this Metro backpack. I already have an Elements Backpack Pro, so I'm having second thoughts about getting this one, even though it looks great.
Hey Danny, thanks for the review. I gotta be honest, I've been holding off on buying Evergoods bags because they put the front pocket on the left side, and I usually carry my bags on my right shoulder. Also, I'm not a fan of Alpaka bags because they don't have external water bottle pockets.
Thank you for watching! Overall the transit pro feels like a more premium bag, the harness / laptop protection / variety of pocket options feel like a more expensive bag, but if you just want a solid tech bag with a simpler layout the metro pro will work very well!
Couple questions… How does the total volume compare to the cpl24? Smaller or about the same? Thinking minimal travel here. The hidden back passport pocket. If I put a standard leather wallet in there is it going to be to thick and will I feel it on my back? That’s how the dayfarer was for me but the greenroom Northseeker pocket is pretty awesome. Overall thoughts I really like the organization but I think it would have been best if they had either gone full clamshell or found a way to add an exterior bottle pocket. That lack of top QAP is fine with all that org in the front pocket imo.

Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful!:)
Thanks for the review! Would love to see a comparison against the Aer CPP and/or the Able Carry DP
Or even the Evergoods CPL24
Thank you for watching and good idea for a comparison video!:)

Thank you for watching! I agree the quick access pocket would have been a nice addition
Another great review thanks
Thank you for watching and for the support!:)

Thank you for watching! Yea that’s a tough choice if you have the elements pro which is a great alternative to this
how can I get a Danny Packs hat?
I got you!;)

How do you compare this with the Bellroy Transit Pro? I like the later but I’m not a fan of the clamshell style.

Alpaka backpacks’ volume is consistently less than what they say. I highly suspect it’s smaller than the CPL 24.
Anyway you can check to see if a 17' laptop would hit in that laptop compartment? Thats the deal breaker for me
Nomads nation did that already. 16 inch...yes but 17in...NO.
Hi, what’s your height. Thansk
Thank you for watching! I am 5’11”
no top quick access pocket is a deal breaker
Thank you for watching! Quick access at the top would have been great to see
Good backpack but no external bottle holder, a deal breaker for many.
Thank you for watching! Although it’s not a deal breaker for me I agree it’s definitely a really nice to have
Really not worth over $100 more than the original metro.
Thank you for watching! I haven’t had a chance to use the original metro but it seems like it was a really solid value!
It is if your use case needs double the capacity of the original metro though!
@@dannypacks it is, I have one.
@@geep8591 no.
It's disproportionate.
