Last person needs to end their relationship with their current partner. Stop with this mindset of "shouldn't or should I" and make the decision as soon as possible, because it's clearly an ongoing one-sided relationship. People will get emotionally hurt but that's just how it is, especially when you decide to be indecisive and let the problems handle itself. Be more considerate, but not just for yourself.
I agree. Whats ridiculous, however, is that she's not even in that mindset. She said so much about another person and idk about anyone else but if I heard my S/O talking about another person like that to other people. I'd feel hurt and embarrassed. Probably mad too about the time wasted.
It's not that easy tho, even that complex situation is super super common, falling in love with a person of the opposite sex but repressing your true love just because your family is homophobic AF and would literally kick you out of the house, so you keep forcing youself to love someone else. She sounded like this thing about her friend was getting stronger at that time so she's probably on the breaking point of the relationship. You would be surprised of the amount of heterosexual people that have ex bfs/gfs that happened to be gay after, and that doesn't really mean it was a bad relationship, just not the correct one.

@@ligmaballs7759 it depends where you are. Some places treat LGBTQ+ people horribly and it can be legitimately dangerous or deadly for someone to come out. Hate crimes, forced conversion therapies, legal discrimination, etc. can affect what a person will go through after they come out. The girl also mentioned her parents being a big factor, so she might also be a part of a religious family, or something of the sort, where anti-LGBTQ+ ideals are accepted. It isn’t about an overall “society” because every place is too different for us to really understand what a person might go through once they come out. Coming from someone who had to come out, it’s fucking terrifying, and you know you’ll be hurt at one point or another for something you don’t have any control over, so coming out really is a bigger deal than you think. Things are better now than they were before, but it’s very one-step-forward-two-steps-back when it comes to LGBTQ+ acceptance. Progress is slow, but people who aren’t on the receiving end of it don’t realize it until they’re in our positions.
I just hope when she does, her boyfriend understands it, and supports her decision. I myself would be like “while I love you, what I want most is for you to be happy. If that’s what makes you happy, do it. And remember, I will always be a friend when you need one.”

As a grocery store cashier, it’s funny the water bottle thing was brought up. People hide things under those big packs of like 20 water bottles all the time. It’s too heavy to bring up and scan, so they just leave it in their cart, and often you can see someone try to hide an item underneath. Usually we just let them do it, it’s not worth confronting them over.

@@selinnazsur2328 Grocery stores (& convenience stores) of all sizes know for a fact that they're getting inventory stolen daily, if not hourly. It's already pre-calculated when they get all their merchandise, and they never expect to get full value off of what they purchase for that shipment-it's just how it is. The owners/companies know it's not worth it to start stuff if it's just a few things at most, and employees are often explicitly told not to confront the shoppers unless it's blatantly a lot of stuff or expensive, since it's not worth the time or money lost.
