Good afternoon Kailyn! Beautiful entryway and dining room! Love the hutch styled with your white china! Perhaps, your entry table could be used for small décor vessels for easy access. Love your captain’s chairs and I think the greenery stem suits the large black vessel better than the smaller pieces. There’s always a reason why something doesn’t work, ya know! Great choice! 💕

I love how you decorate. And your style. Since you’re cabinet is close to your dining room, I would store your fine dinnerware, napkins, table cloths. And extra items like that.

What color did you paint your China cabinet. It’s very striking. I’m very indecisive I’m afraid what I choose won’t look good together. We built our home, by ourselves, 10 years ago. I didn’t realize how dark my kitchen would be with dark cabinets dark wood floor and dark marble. I’m trying to decide what I can do. I have a thrifted China cabinet and sideboard that matches. They’re in that oak wood color. We have an oversized Amish made oak table that has several nics and dents from moving and every use. I’d love to give everything a new look on a small budget, of I could just decide what to do?
Also my mother in law pass away from Covid. We purchased her home and currently remodeling it. Just like my house, I’m struggling with colors and ideas. Kitchen, dining and living area flow together as one great room. We’re going to paint the light oak cabinets, oak trim , cheap grade hollow core doors and walls once I figure out what color to choose. The rest of the house needs it too. You make it look so easy. I love your taste and color choices. Any suggestions?

I store scarves hats and gloves in baskets near our entryway because that’s the door we go out. If it’s not the main door then dining room supplies maybe?
You did a great job but that table is too small to support the 6 black chairs. 4 people have to straddle the table legs. I would put wine glass and other things with the white dishes in the cabinet. Too many plates stacked against the back.

No sprays are recommended for real wood except the use of beeswax which conditions the wood too.
Also I like a lower floral display on the table so you can see people across the table.

It looks fantastic as usual Kaylin, oh yeah I am no5 ready for spring decorating, I have pine n pops of red for Valentine’s Day n had added snow flakes n winter decor until after the next holiday, but I have my stuff to go through n grabbed a few new pieces as well early n doing lots of paperwork n tryin* to get organized n de clutter! I love the way you decorate. And thank you for giving me that name of paint you tone down your gold with. I’ve always love my brass pieces, but I think I like the antique brass better these days.
Love the decor. I would've put an area rug under the dining table warm up the space some. On the cabinet by the door it's definate you needed something there. Maybe I'd have left off the books and only put one pot with plants in it. And the basket I'd have used for keys sunglasses stuff like that or mail. I'm not a candle person, I like them, have them but rarely burn them. To each they own. I'm not sure what is put in the cabinet. Maybe since it's winter hats & gloves.
