I've always really liked Clay Matthews and his six-year NFL career has been rather rich! Too bad he didn't get Rookie of the Year in '09, and Defensive Player of the Year a season later.
I was watching the Vikings and Packers play on mnf and remember that play where he basically collided with Adrian Peterson and ripped the ball out of his arms then ran it for a touchdown. I didn't know him before that play. he has grown into a coaches dream defensive end.
I remember he did the Grantland podcast and mentioned the move after that Saints lost.... Week 9 BYE week and then.... He just went nuts. Can't wait till the upcoming season to see Packers work
11chruiz Their defense really hasn't been successful over the past 2 years, they've been more mediocre, Matthews is good but he's a liability in run defense, takes angles, & sometimes badly whiffs on tackles. He's a great pash rusher but very one dimensional.
What Aaron Rodger's is to the Packer's offense, is what Matthews is to the Packer's defense. He's a true leader, intense competitor and game changer. He's the engine that keeps the defense running. Both are going to Canton when they retire.

Cooper Edwards Russ and Lynch on offense for sure. Kam Chancellor had the best season out of the whole defense, then you got earl thomas, sherman Michael bennett(he already made the list I think), bobby wagner(same with him). For the Packers you got Aaron rodgers, cobb, jordy nelson, matthews, I think ha ha clinton dix had a good rookie year(not enough for the top 100), Eddie Lacy, JOhn Kuhn was good too evne made the pro bowl but probably won't make top 100,... I don't know much about their o line but Im sure one of those guys at least made the pro bowl I think those 2 are probably teh best teams in the league right now. I think even better than the patriots... which is weird to say cause the patriots won the superbowl
