I have a 2014 435i similar to yours and sometimes I never understand how people spec the cars the way they do. My car came with HUD, the big iDrive screen, a manual trans, and the sport package (but not M sport). The thing is, the person who speced it didn’t have any parking assists added. My car has no backup camera, no PDC, and no lane departure warning. It’s such a strange way to spec out a car. Also I know this video is like a year old so you may not have the 435 anymore but you may actually have lumbar support. On the control switch for the seat, there should be a circle. That circle is lumbar support. You push the button toward the front of the car to bring the lumbar out, and you push the up and down buttons to go up or down. As for sport vs sport+, sport helps with speed while sport+ focuses more on suspension. Sport will slightly stiffen the suspension but sport+ will stiffen the suspension even more and partially turn off traction control
You have to put it in sport plus and then you have to hold the traction control button for 5 seconds then you'll have no traction at all . No you can start drifting and let lose
yeah my biggest regret was not doing enough research on packages and stuff i would want. No back up camera and upgraded iDrive is a big bummer for me, but you live and learn.
ill probably get an apple / android car play system installed at some point. I think alpine has come out with one that works well for $250-$300 I will definitely make a video about that and getting a back up camera installed for people who have ran into some of the problems that I've had haha!

man, I wish I had that pocket on the left of the steering wheel. Because my car has lane assist and brake assist it removes that cubby hole because the buttons for those two options are right there.
I love that mine does not have a back up camera. They have good visibility and are small cars. It’s cheaper to replace your bumper if needed. It’s a cleaner look without those sensors. Not a back up camera fan
Wow! No backup camera??? That's like having manual windows!!! The sunglass holder was a big one for me. Also the overall lack of storage space for the driver is irritating. Every other car I have owned has sooooo many other cubbies to store shit! I guess you really need a check list. PS: Gran Coupe does not have the seat issue.
I just sold my 2015 435, replaced it with an M2, but that 435 was such a great car! Not one thing broke on it in the whole 9 years I owned it, and still had its original brakes. Mine had a backup camera because I did a factory order and added it as an option, it was also a manual, which was the main reason for the factory order..almost impossible to find them on any dealers lot. Yea I agree with the cup holders but not a big deal for me, everything else about the car made up for it.
03:00 - Go look at the Lexus SC300/400 Door hinges - one of the best designs for a 2-door vehicle with that issue - they actually pivot out so you do not have to open the door as far.... I'm sure there are other vehicles out there that attempt to solve the same issue... just not sure of 'em.
the difference between sport and sport plus is pretty simple. sport is just for the performance aspect of the car. i believe they put out the same amount of power in both modes but sport plus is more for the track. dsc is slightly tuned off. the suspension becomes more stiff. steering becomes more stiff. i dont thhink it messes with any of the power. i might be wrong im not an expert.

That’s a good question, I don’t have an automatic, mine is a 6speed manual but I’m sure if you joined a F32 Facebook owners page they would definitely be able to tell you or give you some insight
it just depends, if u put it into the sports transmission mode (s1-s8) it switches automatically. but when you put it into manual/sport trans, it becomes like an actual manual. so if you do not switch gears it will not switch automatically unless u do not switch for a certian amaount of time and switches for safety measures. so do not put it into manual mode unless you know what you are doing.
What color?! and honestly, I never had one issue with my car. That being said I owned it from 29K miles to 65K miles. But when I sold it, it was nothing to do with any problems with the car. In my ownership I just did my routine maintenance! I would definitely get one again!

If you have rear parking sensors, you don't need a camera...or if you really need it, it can be installed, it's totally unnecessary for me and I have it lol If it's a parking lot with limited space...roll down the window and then get out, it's much easier. You can put sunglasses in the door, organize the space :) When you put the cover on the cup holder, you can put the phone there. I watched the entire clip... in reality, not a single thing is that important, it can be overcome... this looks to me like a woman who complains that she has nothing to wear and has a closet full of clothes :))) don't be a spoiled baby :)))

WTF Thist man reallt needs to read the drivers manual 😂🤣😂 The car has decent front and rear parking sensors that go green, amber and read on the head unit, it has electrically udjustable lumbar support, there is a toggle button on the wind screen wiper stork to reply and toggle forward tracks on iPhone or Android. You can keep your sunglasses on your head, in the glove box or the door pocket. If you want to put large cans or bottles in the cup holdee you should had bought a 435i with a ZF gearbox! Don't park in a busy carpark or park as far away from other cars because people will dink your doors out of spite. Other 435i's have splitl rear seats you dipped out. I find that the throttle response is quicker in Sports Plus than om Sport. Also you have the option to turn the traction control off in Sport and Comfort that's what the button is there for..
I'm glad and worried you made no mentions of maintenance or things breaking. But I agreed with your concerns and thus thumbs up!
Before settling on a bmw, vin check it to know exactly what options the car comes with. It'll save you form all of these problems.

Door hinge - any car is hard to get out of in a busy parking lot, my Jaguar XE sedan and Range Rover, I still do this as 4 doors.

also they put the traction control button because thats the way you turn off the dsc completly to drift and things in that nature
