Fun fact: The 'small Turkish village' Ani which you had in the first round was once the capital of the Armenian kingdom. It was one of the world's biggest cities at the time (11th century)
That would be awesome but based on what I know about Ethan, he could not be bothered to grind this game. He’s not very serious about it at all (the opposite of Josh)
For anyone wondering, the sign at 12:08 "Kinder" just means "Children" in german. This is another good clue to remember because in a lot of smaller german towns or sideroads in these towns and villages people tend to put up some sort of sign to make people slow down for the children. Thats why signs or similar warning things with "Achtung Kinder" (Caution/Attention, Children) or smth along those lines are very common in germany and a pretty good clue to remember in rural germany. These dont even have to be official signs and more like this, often used in bright and easily visible colours
@@imri1273 makes sense since its also a german speaking country. But you do see them less often in Austria from my experience while they are in almost every rural village in germany at some point or another
Haven’t seen anyone mention RUclips’s addiction in their description. I have just realized my screen time is rising and I will take a break. Thanks and nice video!
The "thingos" on the utility poles are called cross arms if they go out from both sides of the pole and alley arms if they go out from one side of the pole. The pieces that come off of the those that the wires are attached to are called insulators.
Another small tip for guessing Scotland over other parts of the Uk is a Yellow sticker on the rear window of cars that says Arnold Clark. While they can be found anywhere within the Uk they have a high concentration of cars in Scotland. It's helped me guess correctly a fair few times so is pretty reliable.
the red brick houses was something you mentioned when you were teaching jack haha also kinder means children in german so that was a great clue. i loved the breakdown helped me learn a lot of new things :)
Exactly where I stand. Getting 90% country right and some major regions lead to 800-900 elo. Now stucked "above gold and below master". I need general region guessing tips without learning 100 hours antenna stuff. Botswana sand, turkish roofs. That kind of stuff for 2 hours straight please.
Idk if its just my Europe-hardened brain, but the fifth round I could quite quickly say it was North-west Germany/North-east Netherlands region, I had no specific reasoning for it like the "Red brick road", I just saw "Kinder" thought German, saw the flat, green landscape and went to the specific region.
For the North Germany round, i could just vibe guess it cause im danish and north Germany tends to look very danish, but the houses look slightly different (although very close to danish)
Have you ever done masterclasses for Geo? Could be an interesting series idea. Im just getting back into it after years and years away, started duels yesterday and ranked up to S2 so trying to do as much homework as possible to learn about infrastructure atm. Im also struggling with learning Cyrillics, distinguishing between Bulgarian, Ukrainian & Russian.
I just got silver 1, and I also am afraid for the more rural areas. What do you guys suggest to train? i have pretty much only used videos and just try to remember. Learning bollards sounds scary when I dont even know where to start. What are good ways to learn?
I should add, i have only played duels and team duels. Not even sure what other maps to play other than *"A community world", but then again, this video shows I have so much to learn before attempting it
Hey Oscar! I really enjoyed reading your post and since watching your videos for 2 years, i want you to try the South Asian Geoguessr. Its my pleasure ! LOVE YOU FROM Pakistan......
Go to surfshark.com/zi8gzag for 4 extra months of Surfshark
No, but I respect the hustle
Good sponsor. I've been using Surfshark for years, it's one of the best VPNs and very cheap.

He's good with instant vibes but his general knowledge on geography is shocking 😂
That would be awesome but based on what I know about Ethan, he could not be bothered to grind this game. He’s not very serious about it at all (the opposite of Josh)
We need Harry!
We need youuuuuuuuuu

Kinder as in Kindergartens

Something I haven't seen before in a video description, that's for sure. It's a nice touch
Yeah you can tell Zigzag is a good guy

Keep the Josh collabs coming!
Ohhh I've been waiting for the training episode!! This can be a series (also with others)
So nice of you to let a small creator like Zerkaa on your channel!
am just waiting for sidemen geogussr now, Josh is pretty good now. 1v6.
He did say that they recorded one recently. I’m also waiting eagerly.
Your coaching videos teach me more than any other method on the internet, thanks for doing them!
These thumbnails freaking creep me out
New Sidemen Geoguessr video to react to! (Behz is in it)

Underrated comment

Your videos are suuuper helpful for learning geoguessr, especially this coaching style content!

In Belgium you can still spot pre 2000 plates as well. Its becoming rare, but it happens

thumbnail face is unsettling
ik, lowk it made me want to watch but I'm not sure if it was satire or he actually wanted to make that the official thumbnail as a serious thing.

Patiently waiting for you to react to the new sidemen geoguessr video! Would be a fun one to react to
6:06 that brown sign actually says Tongdosa, which is a famous temple in Korea. I actually visited it with my gf last year, lol.
Love the Zerkaa collabs wouldn't mind to see more
this guy's thumbnails only get less and less canny
Did not realise that ZigZag was from South Aus! My home state too! Big up James Cyril Stobie. The goat. 😂😂
Please do a Part 2 this is such a good Video
Love the collab with Josh since he's actually actively learning GeoGuesser
Figuring out the front and back of the car is a banger.

11:32 Sounds like an iconic Jasper Woodard quote to me
im loving this friendship
There is a reason good AI upscalers do not mess with eyes too much. It doesn't even look like you in the thumbnail!
16:58 you can actually get passing place signs all over England as well
Hey Oscar, idk if u will see this but how can i tell the difference between the dry parts of peru and the dry parts of argentina?

Ok, it would be so good to see your reaction to josh's latest geoguessr vid to see how much vetter hes gotten 🎉

Harry seem quite interested in Geoguessar. I don't know will he sit and learn. If you get him in your channel that would be incredible.

Hi Oscar I've also seen red bricks in Krakow in Poland? Is that just a weird coincidence or part of meta?
What I've noticed about mr. Zerkaa is that he's good at learning the metas and all, but he struggles a lot with vibe guessing
mar just means sea we dont call mar to a lake
React to the new Sidemen Geoguesser with Zerka, Harry, Vikkstar and Behz please!!
We need a Bangladesh region-guessing lesson from the master Behz himself
