Disney should just buy one of the big 3rd party manufacturers like art sabers etc... and use their expertise to make better sabers. Combine that with the scale and mass production of Disney and we might have a high quality accurate affordable lightsaber. Any thoughts?
If Disney can come up with a auto emitting and auto retracting lightsaber I doubt they need to buy one of the other manufacturers. They know how to make the good neopixals, and the fact that they don’t means it’s deliberate.

Just because they put a lot if RnD into a very limited self retractable lightsaber doesn't mean they can do mass market high quality replica lightsabers. Even big tech companies acquire smaller companies for their expertise all the time.

The nice thing about Asoka's light saber is if you're broke, you can opt to get a pair of Philps 30W T8 Fluorescent Tube 4000K Cool White for about 10-12 dollars instead

Well now i want to know how the cal kestis jedi survivor white setting compares. Is it more like the old savvis workshop white, or more like this new Ahsoka white? Especially since it only released recently too.

Everything I've seen on these new legacy versions has like a little orange diamond on them but the ones you're showing her don't? Smooth swing on em still sucks but they do seem brighter hard to tell with the white color but at 350 this is the best deal you’re ever gonna get if all you care about is the look and not function

Those are way bigger compared to the LGT ones I have. The LGT look a lot more screen accurate, but they cost me a little over $550 for Xenopixel ones. Always wondered why Ahsoka holds those sabers like she does & not like Ventress? Was it a Disney thing to make it seem more like a Samurai sword stance? Great review BTW! Keep them coming!
I think she likes the flexibility of being able to use both lightsabers for multiple opponents but also likes the idea of using a two handed grip for the more forceful blows
Ahsokas new style is a nod to miyamoto musashi. A famous Ronin who founded niten-ichi-ryu meaning using a katana and wakizashi. That’s why one is short and the other long. With it being a nod to M.M. She holds it like a katana.
At first glance they still look pretty big. Happy they were about to cut the weight down on them but worth $350? I guess it depends on their purpose. All my disney sabers are on display and are never played with, personally id rather wait for the ahsoka craze to pass and get these at a discount.
The huge emitter neck for the blade was the turn-off for me. Doesn't look like the real prop. That plus this is the lack of improvement to the soundboard is crazy at this point. This is also the 5th release of Ahsoka Rebels legacy sabers... where is Kanan at?! lol
Your reviews are always great! Keep doing what you're doing! For me, it seemed like the tip of the Savi's blade is not lit at the tip, unlike the Ahsoka which is lit all the way through the tip. Maybe it was just the lighting. Blades look cool but dang, that price range. I wonder if Savi's workshop/make-your-own lightsaber will have the thinner blades?

was disappointed at how thick these were in hand, that said for me GE sabers are just for display and they look great on a shelf. Happy with them overall, the price is fine they charge 250 for the single legacy sabers with blade, 100 more for a 2nd one and just giving up the stand is a great price imo. the legacy stands are pretty crappy anyway.
I think the Yoda one features the new tech as well 👍@FindingTheForce did a cool review on that one as well! Check out 1:50 of the video as I think he has a link to that review in there 👍
Be aware, though, that while the Yoda and Ahsoka both use a similar twist-in mechanism, the size of the connector and the blade diameter is larger on Ahsoka, so they are not compatible.
hey im not sure how to fix the crackel on my lightsaber but i am getting worried can you do a video tutorial on how to fix it? i spent all of my birthday money on two sabers and one wont even turn on
The swing sounds have a delay by the sounds of it, which a bit of a turn off. Other than the hilt weight, and hum, i'm not super impressed. Though the brightness is cool.

Honestly I think all the light sabers that are Battle ready are overpriced to begin with...... I mean here's an example just to get Darth maul's blade you have to buy 2 of the same lightsaber to combine it instead of putting it all in one pack, All the original characters are way overpriced then what they should be, even more than building a custom one, it's obviously a cash making scam because they know that's what we want..... You also have to give credit to The Third Party makers that started all this first and then Disney wanted a piece of the pie....

What's interesting is they use WAV files already in their advertising for the RGB Cal hilt so we know they're capable of producing a board that uses the same file setup as xeno, proffie, etc. It might come down to the fact that they still want to use easily available batteries cause smoothswing boards usually take 18650 cells.
@@ricoricciardi3346 I think them doing Palpatine and Qui Gon as rechargable was them testing the waters to see if people would be satisfied with that setup. If they go down the rechargable route for all sabers (savis included), we might see a spike in quality.

these were bought with bots how do i know i was watching them through the us exclusive time for Disney plus subs through out the week but right when it hit 12 am for us Canadians or anyone else with out a plus subs it went sold out instantly like in 1 second i had no time to even get them which pisses me the hell off been trying to get ashoka tano lightsabers from Disney but sadly they were all bought out by bots and sadly there not even listed anymore on the Disney shop either which idk if there getting a second wave of them

Had a blast building at savi’s workshop at Disneyland a couple weeks ago. Made for all Star Wars fans. I highly suggest cosplaying if you go.

Still don't have those Rebels sabers, but I do have Ahsokas sound fonts on several of my sabers. The sensitivity isnt real good on those.

the old model, the light dont consume the whole blade, at the tip it dont glow at all, the new one does tho i'd say worth just cause it would bug me
