- INDIAN RAILWAYS FIRST CLASS TRAIN. Taking a first ac class Indian train with Indian railways has been a long time bucketlist item for me. Finally the day has come because we're testing the LG G8X ThinQ dual screen smartphone. What better place to test it than an Indian railways first class train with a journey of 24 hours! Neha, my photographer/videographer, joins me on this incredible journey from Bangalore to my favourite city in the world Mumbai. We start our journey in the evening at 08:30 pm at Bangalore Railway station. We're travelling on the Udyan Express from Indian Railways. Even though this is a first call ac cabin unfortunately there is no food included in our journey. I was a little bit worried about that. Also I was really hoping for Neha and me to get one of the few 2 bed cabins. There are only a couple of these on every first class train so when Indian Railways decides to bless you it's a very good day.

Q (Why) Are you vegetarian?
A I'm vegetarian but not strict. I don't eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don't judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world :-)
Q Why do you usually travel alone?
A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own.

Nice video! You made me realize how much I've missed India! 😊 Unfortunately when I was there, I was mainly traveling by plane because it was much practical for me since I didn't have enough time and wanted to see as much as I could without wasting time on the road, but while also taking it easy. I know I will visit India some time soon again, so I will make sure I travel by train at least once! By the way, I want to say a huge THANK YOU, because your videos were really helpful to me when I was preparing my trip to India 🇮🇳 !
Second thing, honestly I am not much convinced by the LG phone. Because I like to do things one step at a time, so I know 2 screens wouldn't really serve me. Maybe the only thing that could be useful to me, is watching youtube videos while doing some other stuff on the phone, but I believe that's an issue the "RUclips" app should deal with on their own in order to give us the possibility to split the screen, or just leave the sound (for music/podcasts) as a background sound while doing whatever we want to do on the phone. But thanks for the review though!

Regarding the LG phone tbh I thought the same before I tried it and then my mind was blown. It's a whole new experience that you can only see once you actually try it. To each their own of course😊

Please don't do footboard. It is dangerous. Indian railways strictly warns the same to passengers as there is heavy fine for it, of found guilty. Make a note
LG is one of my favourite when it comes to electronics. Already have a LG TV, Microwave and now looking forward to buy this phone! LG is really good.

Standing at the door in the moving train this is so much fun and this can only be experienced in Indian trains. Now with new trains coming with automatic door closing we will slowly come to an era of no door standing travelling experience
Most of the long route trains all over the world use non automatic doors cause they are more convenient , easy to use and doesn't suffer technical glitches so to me non automatic doors will stay for long travel

but a suggestion from an indian: always hold on to something firm while standing on the doors of train , and never lean out too much , there are electrical pillars.

It's ok, there are handles where you can hold yourself and I always checked if the tracks were clear (mostly standing inside really)

It doesn't look like a "First class" amenity. The last time I traveled by "Second class", it looked very similar except for the closed compartment. In second class coaches have curtains for privacy rather than closed cabins.

One suggestion about the phone: you can easily take work related video calls or any other video calls for that matter from anywhere and at the same time make notes... That's the most practical use of it that I can see!!
