We are mixed and have been mixing long time
My fathers town is Tafas Daraa Horan, southern syria, and I mostly sunni
He met my mother in Sham during college in the 70s. My mother is from Masyaf Hama Central Syria and predominantly Ismaili
    In Syria, we mix
But assad did not want us to mix
He wants syria just for alawie
And this made alawie hate him all of souria 1 hand
    Syria, my love is free
The last time I was in syria was 2010 summer. I left on October 17th
I thought I would be back in the summer 2012
But nope, assad destroyed the belad = the country
But now, if God wills maybe 1 or 2 years, I will see my family & and friends, and Masra = orchards
And the neighborhood ladies I used to chill with my grandma & enjoy tea & cigarettes 🚬
But now it will just be 🍵 since I quit 🤣🤣✌️💚💚♥️♥️🖤🖤

The chaos in the prisons (if you could even call them that as they were torture and execution centres) and the agony of the families is really sad but also can lead to loss of documents and evidence needed to prosecute the regime.
The documents must be preserved and we must be wary of the civil servants that have been probably complicit with the regime to hide evidence of torture and mass executions!

What’s becoming so obvious to people now is that colonialism never ended....it just got rebranded with different terms. From Indigenous Peoples being called “savages” in the old days, to now being called “terrorists. From neocolonialists to zionists, the playbook stays the same.
    1) Savages is now “terrorist”
    2) Civilizing them is now “bringing them democracy”
    3) Colonies is now “territories”
We can all see Israel is a settler colonial project, being supported by former and current colonials (such as the US & UK) who control territories of indigenous natives in Caribbean Islands, Pacific Islands, Hawaii, etc. The liberation of Palestine will definitely give RISE to many indigenous natives around the world to free themselves from western domination. This is the underlying ripple effect that the American government and its possey don’t want to happen.

So what if Israel is a settler colonial project? It's still the best country in the Middle East. Israel is a Westernized democracy with a high standard of living. Look at the rest of the Middle East -- failed states, terrorist gangs, dictatorships, and third world conditions. Israel is proof that Europeans create the best countries.

Maybe when talking about political parties being non-existent in Syria you could look at the situation in NE Syria. According to the figures from 2016, there were over 20 major political parties and a similar number of smaller ones. There have possibly some changes since then - mergers, splits, disbanding and new creations. I wonder how many political parties existed in Idlib under HTS control ?

It amazes me the West chose to ignore India's Modi meeting Netanyahu in *June 2023* _pledging to replace all Gaza internment camp Workers with trafficked ln'dian labor!_ But that's what they did to Gazan Workers, until in *September 2023,* when Blinken cut off aid to Egypt used to feed and care for now penniless starving Gazan population!
That outrage led to 7OCT Intifada and gave Netanyahu _causus belli_ to lockdown and then mvrder 50,000 Gazans, _while ln'dia is busy supplying all ls'real's labor now, in taking over N Gaza!_ *ln'dia offshoring is already stealing $200,000,000,000 a year in good jobs from Americans!*

18:09 what is the word he was saying when he said “…having the Syrian r??? (ruples?) and the Syrian opposition from outside Syria…”. He used the same word earlier, saying something like “those of us coming from the ruples” when talking about his humanitarian organization I believe…I had thought he was saying “rubble” and using it in a somewhat unorthodox way, but in the latter use it has become clear that he definitely did not mean “rubble,” as I don’t think this Syrian humanitarian worker and organizer would refer to his own people as “rubble.” To Anyone who can offer insight on this, thank you! It is greatly appreciated and I am very grateful…as I’m sure anyone else confused by this will be!
