Love this! I can’t wait to go back to Taiwan too! Ughh... Glad Taiwan is the gold standard for fighting against COVID19. Their numbers are incredibly low so healthy people should be reassured.
I was scheduled to be in Taiwan this week but due to Covid-19 I had postponed it to September (keeping fingers crossed). I agree that Taiwan is probably the nicest country I have visited, locals are amazing friendly and food is super delicious!
I would replace "Ting bu dong" (don't understand) with "Deng yi sha" (wait a moment). If you don't understand, you can just shake your head and say "I don't understand" in your native language and everyone will get that you don't understand. "Wait a moment" is useful when you don't understand and you want to get your phone to check something, or you need time to think (which happens A LOT when you're in a foreign country) sometimes you just need to get out some money or something, but the person you're talking to doesn't know if you've given up or what you're about to do.
Hi. Are you taiwanese? I live in NYC but I’ve been to Taiwan at least 6 x. Arghh. I already booked my ticket to Taiwan for this July which is now in jeopardy. Anyway, I agree. Taiwan is super friendly place. And food is incredible!!
Been to Taiwan twice and i never had to learn a single mandarin coz everyone i interacted with understood english. I wish this corona virus would go away soon so that i could comeback to taiwan. I miss the night market food!!
Yeah. Last time I was there: "Boba" isn't even a word in Taiwan. What we would refer to as "Boba milk tea" is "Pearl milk tea (or 珍珠奶茶/ jen ju nai cha)" and they are usually sold in tea stores
Thanks for watching, friends! Let me know if you want to learn more phrases! :)
What's the hardest one to say from this list?
Thanks hope you are fine ?
U make learning a new language seem easy, the way u teach is so straightforward, just love it ‼️
Aw thank you!

Yes! They started preparing early and that was definitely a smart choice.

手搖飲料店 that’s how we call it
She seriously needs to speak slower! I love how easily she's teaching but needs to slow down for us who have hearing problems.
You can change the Playback Speed to a lower setting to make it slower
Knee how translates to how s your knee?
Shao khan wins.flawlees victory!!
You forgot to teach how to say everyone’s favorite Chinese phrase: “That”…
wtf are these chapter titles lmao
I really thought Jasmine is Korean because of her surname.
half Korean and half Taiwanese :)
She def has Korean features, but a “Chinese” nose. But I love that she’s part Taiwanese too! I have a special place for both those countries.
Love you bitc#
Dead channel. Didn't know BuzzFeed was still a thing after all the toxic femininity. Either way, cool vid I love Taiwan
