While I agree I just have to point out that angels are genderless "men". Lauren has an awesome voice and is beautiful but she seems to be too much of an aesthete (kinda like lady gaga but at the same time nothing like alike) to be someone that is "easy to handle" or get along with.
As an older person, I never thought I would have a pop band ever affect me like those from my teens. Depeche Mode, The Cure, New Order, and so forth have formed my musical soundtrack and Chvrches taps into exactly what the world, and me personally, needs. Openness, honesty, vulnerability, grit, and so much more. Screen Violence is one of the most pristine impactful albums I've heard in a long time and I'm so stoked they made it themselves. I hope they continue down that road. They really need no outside producers.

I'm a metal guy, particularly Melodic Death, Death Metal, Symphonic Metal and Black. But man I never knew a synth-pop band would hit me so hard on my soul and probably the only synth pop band that would make me inspired and motivated on this never ending daily challenges of life. I am really greatful I discovered you guys through Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding. I've played a lot of games but DS was so specially and beautifully crafted and CHVRCHES made it even more Beautiful and inspiring. Thank You ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
