lol no Logos are necessary for protecting intellectual property. Either just put the logo somewhere else where it wouldn’t get the cube banned, or just let people remove it themselves by choice.
Regulation 3I) A puzzle may have one or more logos on a colored part. If it does, it must have at most one colored part with a logo or multiple logos. Exception: For blindfolded events, a puzzle must not have any logos. TL:DR: only one piece with a logo is allowed per cube

I'm kinda on the no logo side for blind solves. Don't underestimate peoples abilities to....not necessarily cheat but have an unfair advantage. A good example being card counting in a casino. Mainly In blackjack but I've seen it in poker as well but honestly ot nearly the advantage as in blackjack. BTW I'm referring to memory counting Not a device which would very obviously be illegal. Though rare I know of 2 ppl capable of keeping track of 7 shue blackjack at once. My dad being one of them. Being able to feel the sticker/printed tile. Personally (since I grew up on a dairy and used to be into martial arts there's no way in hell I could do it) still taking off the decal w/ an abrasive would actually made it more of a cheat. Honestly though aside from a party trick, very few would take the time to develop. Top end cubers fighting to get as fast as possible (3 seconds)then possible
@@mrfoxesite6982 For the 3x3, no one has gotten under 3 seconds officially, but that still takes years of extreme dedication. It isn't too hard though if you want to just be able to solve it without trying to get fast. If you do actually want to solve one though, I would reccomend using thecubicle's video tutorial.
Would rubbing alcohol affect the cube's performance? What about if you removed the offending tile (assuming that's possible)? It sounds way easier and way less of a mess than using an eraser
To avoid the eraser flakes going inside the cube you could remove the white center off the cube, move the cube away, erase the logo and then put back the center

perhaps the rule should clarify some things. A sticker has a slight edge that can be felt and thus illegal. That is unless the cube has stickers for colours. However, this can arguably still apply seeing there can be cubes made without stickers. Prints that do not have *texture* should be an exception because they cannot be felt. It is no different to the colours of a printed cube. Furthermore. A cube that has some texture (ex. sanding, scratches, etc.) should be banned for the reason explained above. If a sticker can be felt, then a difference in texture should be included.
Well would rubbing it with an eraser to the point it gets the logo off cause an even bigger texture difference then the logo , also you are solving it so quickly usually that feeling around for the logo would probably take you longer and only gives you one position
I think cube companies could (maybe even should) sell blank cube caps for like a dollar and the problem would go away
A doller is a bit expensive
or just add an extra cap that comes with the cube already
Why should it be separate?
Send it with the cube
10¢ is enough
Or just use a cube cap from another cube.
