Offense looks a lot smoother in the defense actually looks like it has like a hit box so when you drive into them, you don’t just fade through them sometimes
@@Bestobe3 they would lose the casual player base doing that and that equals losing money. It’s a reason dribbling and paint defense gets nerfed yearly

There’s not much they can change each year, but to see that they’re actually revamping this many animations and changing the my builder for the better is something I can give props. Still room for improvement tho
The defender look smaller but yet able to stop the offensive player dead in his track. I had a 7ft 280 pound big with 90 strength and a 6ft5 center stopped me and I couldn’t go past. Ridiculous how real is that .
The guy in the black shirt and red sweats. If you notice he semi warps into a better defensive position. I get it’s a video game but I wished all these new movement animations actually translated to ai as well. Ai shouldn’t warp into position to make the game harder. They should already be in position. But that’s a tiny nitpick. Overall seems good.
I don’t think he’s warping but what you’re seeing is the difference in if we don’t hold Trigger or L2 so he was a bit lazy and then once the ball handler got closer, he got into a more aggressive defense, which would be when we press L trigger or L2, to be able to prevent a pass. Obviously I could be wrong lol

I THINK WHAT THEY DID IS TOOK OUT THE BADGE CLAMPS AND REPLACED IT WITH THE ABILITY TO CONTROL IT YOURSELF WITH THE NEW DEFENSIVE MOVEMENT SYSTEM USING THE RIGHT STICK.
