Thank you Ian. I look forward to many more coming forward to help shape that future (for the better). There is so much untapped talent in this industry. We will continue doing our part to discover and utilize those discoveries of talent. - John Paul Rice
I love the interviews of John, I can tell, he really is open to new ideas and suggestions. Leave your ego behind, and your production will go by much smoother.
Hi Chris, thanks for your comment. All 6 our films were made for well under $100,000. We hope you and others continue down a path of creativity and art to make your projects a reality. This was our latest feature, shot over 12 days. vimeo.com/ondemand/achildsvoice - John Paul Rice
Understanding a “shared vision”, great philosophy. And he’s right. It would be great to get more nitty-gritty stuff from him, as a producer in making a project. Very interesting.
Hi Steve, thanks for your comment. I'd be happy to share with you additional experiences, advice by email and possibly phone. Check out the "about" section on our channel and send me an email to start. Thanks, John Paul Rice
Hi Miguel, certainly you can make films for much less as we did - 6 feature films over 10 years, each were well under $100,000. Here are 2 examples of films made for $1,000 - $2,000 dollars. ruclips.net/video/KVLFDaA8uX0/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/jauXPbMSA6o/видео.html - Filmmaker Chris Norlund watches Film Courage videos and often comments on them. I’d want this guy as a producer. Total confidence and faith in this type of person
He is going to go very far in this industry. People like this will shape the future of film for the better. Very insightful.

With modern technology, quality movies can be made for less than $250,000 - definitely. Thanks for the great information and motivation, as always.

NoRestrictionsEnt I’m unsure if your aware but I sent you a google hangout.
The Blair Witch Project was produced for 60,000 and look how much money that made! Never let money hold you back. Do what you can with what you have!
You still have to have that $60,000. Easier said than done, for most folks ;)
which was a very rare case.... and was over 20years ago..
Great video, but could there be one on producing a movie on a student budget. Perhaps under $20 that would be very helpful.

@@filmcourage thanks, I was somewhat joking, but I will watch it. Thanks for thr help. I love your channel btw.
Awesome! Me too! Both of my features this year made for under 100K.
I love this channel...
But post production audio alone, to streamer specs costs $250k ??
Yes?
Great movie. Buy it!
250k! I can see how it can cost that much but what if you’re not trying to make Avatar? How about producing a movie for $2,500.00.
Avatar was made for 237 million not 250k lol
