Jay Chou who wrote the song was blown away by Ha Hua's performance. Taking a rap song and completely transforming it into a powerful, soulful song the way he did was amazing. Fortunately, this isn't Hua Hua's personal story.
There is an amazing fact that Hua Chenyu is able to deliver every piece of emotion to his audiences through his performance, no matter what background do you have and what language do you speak. Especially for a foreign language song, the translated lyrics never deliver right meanings. He is more like an great artist than a singer.
Branca Norris there was much less violence in his childhood but he felt alone in his childhood because his father didn’t care a lot about him and discouraged him everytime he tried to pursue music, a lot of (asian) parents don’t believe their children can earn money or have a future with music, but they sometimes forget their children’s happiness
First of all,Thank god that it's not his own story. The original version is a rap song ,he rearrange into that in 24hours.He said that he want to bring up the attention of those things which happened around us ~
Hua wasn't yelling, he was crying. Whenever his voice does that, it is crying. This is not his own song, it was written by someone else, but his performance makes you believe it is. His story was in Fake Monk, which was extremely courageous of him to perform. Most reactors could not talk till the end of the song, so it was hard for me to adjust to you talking. However, you truly felt the song and I love you both. Hua, he was challenged by life at a young age, questioned it, thought through it and came out the victor. What an amazing young man!
Thank you very much for explaining and for your nice comments! 😊 We like reacting this way because it's easier to point out specific things during the video. Sorry about the adjusting...
I've always loved watching your reaction videos. Thank you for reacting to Hua. He's always very serious with his music. You'll also be able to find a video of him doing a rehearsal of this performance. He was so into the music, he cried. Seeing how much he normally puts into his music, it is not surprising that his music is always full of impact.
Thankfully it's not from his own experience, even though he did have a lonely childhood, he has said that his parents do love and support him, plus he has so many Martians who call him 'family' and love him.
Venice Ganje Yes, he calls we Martians as his family and treats us as such - and we love him for it. You can check out Hua Chenyu Eng Subs for videos of his interviews and fan-made documentaries of how we love and support each other!
..it's a totally awsome and deep emotionally performance! It's not his own family story or background by the way :) .He really is an execellent artist and storytelling in singing too :) Love it! You both did a great reaction!
Fake Monk Prestage Interview_Singer2018 EP10 _Hua Chenyu_华晨宇_假行僧采访.. This Interview was very touching. It almost brought a tear to my eye. I can understand who Hua Chenyu better now. Thank You.
Alors, juste merci.
Love your reaction! The emotions of This song is so personal, but it reveals a serious issue in our society~hua is awesome by caring others' sorrows and pains through music
It wasn’t his story, he remade it and the original one was a rap song. Hua Hua had to hold back his emotion a lot while he was singing in the stage. When he rehearsed this song, he always end up crying 😢. I love Hua Chen Yu.
I truly admired and respected him that he could transfer a rapping song into something like this. It is a matter of art and brought a lot emotion to the audience. Thanks for your reaction. Recommend his "The Great Sage, Heaven's Equal" in the same show "Sound Of War 2016" (with English Subtitle) - ruclips.net/video/Brc5Zdlj3v8/видео.html He almost composed the whole song in just one night.
instead of love song (most commercial song nowsaday) his song are usually more to a msg to deliver. instead showing singing technic, he insist those technic is just to help him to express his msg into the song. his singing always come with strong emotion, happy, creepy, sad, relax, cute, rock...etc find out more about him, especially "i am singer 2018"
His childhood was not pleasant, his parents divorced, and he could not get the care of his family. Therefore, he was alone in his childhood, listening to music and singing in the closed room to fill the gap in the soul. Therefore, listening to his songs will feel very real human emotions, both positive and negative. At present, the only special style in Asia, the young singer, he sings a hymn-like sing. Whether or not there is a religion or a different religion, he will feel that the soul is shared and the soul is comforted to be temporarily released. Thanks for the broadcast.
Thx. He didn't go thorough this. He just performes so well to the point it feels. Like he went thought this. BTW this is a rap song that he rearranged himself to make it sound like that. Hua chenyu is just a genius
Huahua just broke into tears after rehersal , even he didnt notice how powerful this performance is rehersal : ruclips.net/video/d7oGHKLKTfA/видео.html
It's ok! Just enjoy the emotion and beautiful sound of his music. Hua Chenyu didn't have this bad experience himself. He's singing somebody else's song. But it's a sad song.
What's that? By children are you designating Venice? If not, forget the following. If so, this: An adolescent is no more a child but an adult in the making. The word "adolescent" comes from the latin «ADULTO» = adult; «LESCENS» = emerging and growing up. It's only in North-America, and more and more in the West, that since the middle of the past century, teenagers are considered as children. For millennia, since the Greek, Latin, Chinese and other empires, as long as a child becomes nubile, is no longer a child but an "adulto-lescens", an adult in the making. That except since the industrialisation and the generalization of education in the West --- and more and more on the whole planet,. Fake-pedagogies and fake psychologies help to counteract these infantilizing mores. In the West, but more and more on rest of the planet, quite all adolescents are considered and treated as children. This explains why too many adults, treated as children at the time of their adolescence, remained infantilised. It is the case of beaters of women... an international problem as this song shows! On the opposite, two examples: Jackie Evancho and Emily Bear, 16, have been treated for years as adults. And have for years adult behaviours. This is the case of Venice and that is why she thinks like an adult ... in the making!. Which is not necessarily the case of the comment that I comment ... If that comment means this song is not suitable for Venice... IF... If not, don't take it personal...

You know too much
It's not his own story, though. Love your reaction as always and more Huahua, please.
Actually.. his life is kinda like dat if u didn’t know... he got interviewed.. it part why he wanted to sing that...
First of all,Thank god that it's not his own story. The original version is a rap song ,he rearrange into that in 24hours.He said that he want to bring up the attention of those things which happened around us ~
He not just a awesome singer, he is an amazing stage performer. Thanks for your reaction. I like it so much.
Sincere reaction. I think more people should hear this song. Domestic violence is often swept under the rug.

Mice love rice....should be next ... it is the antithesis of the song you just heard ... it is why I can clearly call him a a musical genius
David Ens Yes! Highly agree! "Mice love rice" is so sweet~~~
ruclips.net/video/PPBymdsRqIY/видео.html
I absolutely agree!
I agree, but honestly he doesn't like people to call him genius because he thinks he's just an ordinary guy.
Love your reaction especially Hua Hua' songs. More please!
It wasn’t his story, he remade it and the original one was a rap song. Hua Hua had to hold back his emotion a lot while he was singing in the stage. When he rehearsed this song, he always end up crying 😢. I love Hua Chen Yu.

Thanks for reaction to this sadest song. Luckily this is not his true story~~ He's actually a good performer and actor/singer. ୧⍢⃝୨

Hua Hua want the people pay more attention to family violence.

It's ok! Just enjoy the emotion and beautiful sound of his music. Hua Chenyu didn't have this bad experience himself. He's singing somebody else's song. But it's a sad song.
Did you cry father? This song is not suitable for children.
What's that?
By children are you designating Venice? If not, forget the following.
If so, this:
An adolescent is no more a child but an adult in the making. The word "adolescent" comes from the latin «ADULTO» = adult; «LESCENS» = emerging and growing up.
It's only in North-America, and more and more in the West, that since the middle of the past century, teenagers are considered as children.
