Some of his preaching may seem like truth, but Jakes also promotes things like modalism (a heresy that denies the Trinity by saying God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are just different manifestations of God, which is false, instead of Them being three distinct, but co-equal Persons that are still the One True God, which is true). He also works with false teachers such as Steven Furitck, which goes against 2 John 1:9-11 and Ephesians 5:11. He even potentially tried defending homosexuality, which is sinful and abomidable, calling Jakes a man of God would then be false, truth is he is a false teacher who should be avoided. You can look into it to find out for yourself and pray to God about the issue as well, but it is important to test everything everyone says and does with Scripture to see if it is biblical or heretical (see 1 John 4:1).
