- “The Dark Side has never been stronger.” I just finished watching Season 7 Episode 10 of the Clone Wars (The Phantom Apprentice) and was BLOWN AWAY by Darth Maul’s revelation about Anakin Skywalker. What Maul revealed to Ahsoka Tano on Mandalore adds a ton of depth to Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Why did Maul see it coming when no one else did?

Really enjoyed this breakdown. The next time I watch Revenge of the Sith, I'll probably imagine what is revealed to us in Clone Wars taking place at the same time as the movie. You should do a breakdown of the final two episodes as well!!!

Also lol, you know why the jedi's vision was so clouded? The jedi temple was on top of an ancient sith temple, so sideous drew power from that temple to cloud the jedi's judgement.

Lol drilling down through your videos, I didn't expect this. I agree that the bad batch episodes were cool, the Ashoka arc was - meh - but those last few episodes dove tailing with the Revenge of the Sith film was absolutely fantastic.
So good to know a fellow historian is a fan of Star Wars. At the conclusion it really reminds me of two quotes by Edward Burke “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” and “Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it.”
