Ok so I pretty much just posted this on your other song "Tilt"... but I hear it again! why can I (or think I can) hear the base rhythm form the start of academy? from about 1:53 to 2:08... Is this the same rhythm I'm hearing or am I crazy? :D
you need the melody brought in a lot sooner...if there is a melody. I stopped listening around 3 minutes because I fell asleep on accident. Sorry, but a beat and a riff boars me. I need a gripping melody to accompany it. This would be a great beat for a rap, if you wanna go down that path, but I can't see this as a stand alone song with no melody of its own; just a beat, a few riffs, and key changes. It's still an amazing and well thought out beat.
1.8 butchered the living fuck out of the generator. It's fine now in 1.5.2, and the new features are nice, but I miss the randomness and unpredictability of the b1.7.3 generator. This is why my minecraft server runs 1.5.2 but with the b1.7.3 generator.
