@@cowgoesmoo2If this game had its realism and gameplay + technology like chronosphere and iron curtain from Red alert and also followed RA campaign it would be the best rts game ever
@mikemandalorian9226 but tbf you've said there why it can't. The realism is the grounding feature of it, but then you are suggesting wacky Sci fi stuff like a time machine. I think the game works as it commits to a vibe, whereas introducing those kind of elements makes it thematically confused
I was just gonna say that it sounds more 90s than 80s. Some of those synth sounds would've been right at home on The Downward Spiral. But I'm not complaining because it totally rocks. One of the best tunes on the soundtrack, IMO.
Funnily enough, though stuff like Abrams and Apache were a big deal, but the actual NATO "game changers" of the 80s, most of which came from Assault Breaker, were either sensors like the JSTARS or were weapons that were intended to blow up like the BLU-108, SADARM and ATACMS.
@@gamermccoolman9312 the Apache is the only hardware I will say is good from the west - who am I to comment though, I'm not a vet. But from reading countless first hand experience from vets, the Abrahams are a pile of overhyped and overpriced trash - like the challenger tanks and Leopards lol.
@@barbosaguzman6101 Abrams are good tanks, but as I said before, systems that found and killed massed units in the enemy’s rear areas were probably more important.

This is fire, sounds like it was made by Frank Klepacki for command and conquer series
Yes!
I think of this game as the spiritual successor to red alert at this point lol
Cold war era, funky music, lots of tanks x)

Let's make a red alert 4 mod for this game

Does anyone know more music of this style? I love the mix of aggressive synth music and electric guitar.
maybe the Quake III Arena soundtrack? Sonic Mayhem, Front Line Assembly. Or maybe Celldweller

@@barbosaguzman6101 you do realise the Abrams can run on any fuel? Also one of the mainstays of Russia’s tank fleet uses a turbine.
