    I was out on a ride and there was a white Classic Jawa parked on the side of the highway, everyone was stopping to look at it. Looked Royal indeed.

    Seriously....Its much better bike and overall package, compared to Enfield. Good thing Honda did was didn't give to funny bloggers and auto critics who can never be satisfied.
    Great strategy of launching the product and deliver to customers directly rather than middle mens for reviews.

    I dont think anyone can agree on this with you... U r upset just because your prediction about the motercycle gone wrong... CB 350 is far better than any other bikes in this segment,be it features, performance,design,weight ...
    The only problem with the bike which u totally missed is tht its dealership and service network, which is for now very limited in india...

      Which prediction are we talking about Sir?
      Whereas for the big wing showrooms I agree that it is going to be a challenge for the company.

    I only agree with your naming point.
    The hiness name feels so Girly. The should have left it as cb350 and yes it's hiness name gives a impression of another wannabe. But I don't think they made the wrong desicion with the bike. Yes there was so much hype about the REBEL even after booking PERAK I was also curious about REBEL and was having second thoughts. But they chose another way and If you look at market now it make sense because of Chinese virus the whole market is down and at this going for a bobber segement whose demand is almost negligible in india considering the market size . It was wise decision from Honda and as far as the looks are concerned I like the paint job on DLX PRO

    I couldn’t find anything wrong with this bike. To be honest. I usually like your video, but with this one I don’t agree.

    • @sofe292
      @sofe292  4 года назад

      Thanks for watching my videos. There is nothing wrong with the bike. It is a pretty decent looking motorcycle. It looks better in person than in photos. I was expressing my disappointment at certain aspects of the bike. I was expecting a lot more from Honda

  • @lifeandjeevan
    @lifeandjeevan 4 года назад +4

    I understand that's your opinion and all but you missed one point.. No reviewer ridden that bike and given their opinions yet.. Bikes are meant to be ridden.. If that is good all this video is just pointless... Looks are subjective..

    • @sofe292
      @sofe292  4 года назад +1

      Appreciate your point. There is still time before the test rides can be made. The pricing of motorcycle has also not been announced yet. This video in particular makes it very clear in the beginning that it is not a review of the motorcycle nor is it into a spec by spec comparison. It focuses on the intangible product offering of the company. And why it disappoints.

    Dude, no motorcycle is perfect. Nevertheless, i trust Honda more than RE and Jawa. CB350 is the most practical motorcycle in the segment compared to its rivals.
    It seems you are disappointed because Honda launched CB350 instead of Rebel.

  • @deepakvenky
    @deepakvenky 4 года назад +3

    1. Rebel wudve cost a lot more and the engine it comes with is too modern and rev happy. Good they didn't do that
    2.It is not similar to the Enfield. counter balancer, TC on that engine will make it feel much more refined (wat Enfield shudve done years ago)
    3. Badge looks removable, so remove it. Everyone including benelli and jawa are competing here, so y call it wannabe?
    4.Design is subjective and they already have a cb300r. It looks great imo
    Why make such a hateful video?

      Aesthetic sense varies from person to person and that is exactly why we have diversity in the products in the market. So that everyone can get what they like and want.

  • @prachithakur9992

    The Jawa is the most aesthetically pleasing bike overall IMHO. Perfectly proportioned and definitely a head turner.

  • @shafeeksaleem
    @shafeeksaleem 4 года назад +1

    Bullshit... What Honda can do for others predicting wrong product launch. I feel its a perfect strategy launch.
    1. Honda cannot sell Rebel for this price range. Who will buy a 300 Cc bike for 3-4 lakhs in India? Will you buy?
    2. This bike is for those who like RE classic like bikes but afraid to take RE due to their reliability issues. Customers are getting a widely accepted retro classic look bike with better performance.
    Though you said you are not a RE fanboy, points you mentioned are from a typical RE fan. No bike is perfect you could have check deeper to find the real problems or missing in CB 350, you can find many. Dont comeup with such hatred videos please.

    Dude, this review seems so off..
    Let me address all your complains one by one:
    1) Anti-climax: Dude they are launching a cb series bike. The same series which destroyed the triumph brand in UK in the 1970's. So I see it as an upgrade. This is a bike with a legendary pedigree from the Honda stable. And looks are subjective. And I personally would pick this bike over Rebel300 any day, just based on appearance.
    And as far as giving RE meteor 350 a competition. Honda didn't want to introduce a cruiser. The very name cb stands for city bike. This bike despite its 181 kg kerb weight, is very light and nimble to handle. It makes filtering through traffic a dream. This is why Honda is only selling in its Big wing showrooms(which are only present in Tier 1 cities) , in order to win the hearts of the city dwellers regarding how easy to handle it is in traffic. Consider the cb as a super commuter.
    2) Me-To: It is similar to classic 350. As both belong to the roadster/commuter genre of bikes. And yes while it is true Honda doesn't have that legacy (in India). It does everything classic 350 does, but a hundred times better. The classic has no business offering a drum brakes at the rear in the base varient with a single channel ABS at this price range .While the cb has disc brakes both in rear and front with dual channel ABS even in the base varient. It is a full 14 kg less than RE classic, which might not seem like much, but Honda engineers have done a brilliant job, with its weight balancing. The bike feels soo nimble and light, you would feel like you are riding a 350 cc splendor. The refinement is so good, that you don't feel vibrations even in 3 digit speeds. While the new classic (based on the J series platform) is definitely a upgrade in terms of smoothness and reliability. It is no where near as smooth as the Honda. Also the Honda has better acceleration, fuel efficiency, larger fuel tank, better riding range, better instrument cluster and has Honda's legendary reliability.So in no way is it 'marginally' better. It is leaps and bounds ahead of the enfield. Any thinking mam would easily pick Honda.
    Plus every Tom, Dick and Harry has a classic nowadays. Honda IMHO would be more unique and eye catching. Therefore offering a greater road presence.
    3) Branding: I agree the Highness name does sound a bit cheesy, and the logo of highness reminds me of the Pixar's Cars movie 😂😂. Nevertheless it is nothing to stress too much about. Honda has offered a near perfect product at a decent price range and that is more than enough for me..
    4) Uninspiring: As I mentioned earlier looks are subjective and I personally love the bike as it is. And wouldn't want it any other way. (Especially the blue and white color scheme is a beauty in my eyes 😍)
    Conclusion: Just check out the Honda highness cb350's sales figures. Despite being available only in the Big Wings (which are only 50 in number as of now) it has been able to sell quite a lot of bikes. Enough to penetrate and create a strong foothold in the classic segment. And with more people buying this bike, and Honda planning to introduce more of their premium (above 300 cc) bikes in the Indian market. The big wings are only going to increase in numbers guys. So you just can't go wrong with this decision.
    Peace ✌✌

    Why don't you mention that this bike is available only in honda big wing dealership
    I think this is the only and most negative point of this bike

    • @sofe292
      @sofe292  4 года назад +1

      Yes that is true. The upside of CB 350 is the build quality and Honda wants to project it as a premium product. Thus the Honda Big Wing showrooms. Flipside is that it would curtail the reach of the product to many prospective buyers. Especially in smaller towns the big wing network isn't great.

    Nobody is perfect , technology keeps evolving. Only time will show how much traction this bike will set. I feel the highlighted demerit will be the Big Wing dealership, instead of normal honda showrooms. RE has a monopoly , its not easy to defeat it even though its making fool out of the people. Best tagline for this bike is ....itney mein toh itna hi milega / it is what it is.
