Dime is where it’s at. Lots of features. Pretty sure the dime can do blues as well
Right, so I'll take a dime wah in brushed copper please and thank you
The blues one sounds phenomenal.
It’s ok. Get an Ibanez wah if you want a good blues wah honestly.
I've been hammering my original Crybaby From Hell since like 6 months after they first came out, and it still works and sounds amazing! I've even been known to full on stand on it with all my weight, and that's a lot of weight 😂
Glad I bought the dime baby I can tell the difference in what I play let alone how versatile it is
Thanks! I'm just starting my guitar journey, Dimebag inspired me during the lockdowns all I did was listen to Pantera, so I've ordered a Jackson JS32 Rhoads, can't wait to learn! I love that red Jackson with the reverse headstock, super cool!!!
Great first guitar brand
Sorry, but you guys are talking dribble. Specifically how and why Dunlop offer a signature Wah to any given artist. They offered one to Dimebag, or his estate, for the exact same reason they did for Gary Clark Jnr. As they did for Joe Bonamassa, Cantrell, Slash, Kirk Hammett et al. It is all commercial. No "fivers under the table". It is straight up and up business. The music business. I know you guys are young, but you're not twelve. C'mon.
The blues has a deeper tone for a wah pedal.. Sounds warm but still feels the room and it’s frequencies aren’t as loud as the original. But I still haven’t gone all the way up with Garly Clark’s pedal. The original wah is what it is! It gives groove tones, rock sound tones, pretty much has a tons of frequency range and it has its lows. Just my opinion….
"How do you take your tea?" "Milk and Sugar AAAAHHHHHH."
I know Dime used the crybaby from hell at demos and possibly in the studio. I did read that he stuck with his Dunlop rack unit so he could place a few controller pedals at various points on the stage. His leads were pretty energetic and he was usually engaging the crowd.
So right Joss ... it may be a wah pedal review video but that tele sounds just awesome
Can't compete with the Dimebag Wah man it's the ultimate wah pedal all the way around
They never turned the Variable Q or fine tune knob on the sides of the Dime wah. Changing the wah range sweep on the side will only do the sweep of what the Q variable is at.
I haven't seen a review yet where the people actually know what Q is..
Playing starts after 9
There’s no such thing as a “metal” wah. It’s a frequency shaping effect.
Should have run each guitar through both pedals.
Dimebag was using his wah in Damage plan! You can see that in his rig rundown
Nothing as far as I can tell, they're both based on the 535Q multi-wah with LED indicators for the on/off status and boost.
@@LinhNguyen-im4uu it also has a 3rd eq knob instead of the 2 on the 535
Oh for sure. You can hear him using the low sweep setting in the intro to the song Pride. You can't make that sound with any other wah pedal.

Happy Holidays, y'all are funny as hell lol🤣🤣🤣..love the blues ... Gary Clark jr is just amazing guitar player love his sound..I did order that pedal
Dimebag wah is one of the best
Great talk! It was fun to watch the video. Nice!
Yea yea yea that’s cool & all but, what about the GCjr wah in dropped B with the miku though? 🤔
What a great player Joss!!
Holy piss you can fly across that fretboard
Man there both cool..that guy can play.and boy is he funny
which would give a killer electric wizard tone? i think jus uses a regular cry baby, nothing fancy. id like to get that tone and have options for more sounds... 535q or dime bags wah or gary clark jr or CRY BABY CUSTOM BADASS DUAL-INDUCTOR EDITION WAH?
That's a sweet Jackson.
a guy with a nasa shirt, next to a guy with an eye of horus tattoo
I need more of Jess doing stuff
🥳🤩🤯🤗 Hellyeah ! CFH ✅🎸🎸🎸✅
Which amp is used on cry gary’s demo ,which OD and which model of tele please? Very great sound!
Just one thing man, the three little knobs on the dime wah, are not 3 band eq, they're fine tune, Q knob and the Boost level
The Gary Clark Jr has a rubber foot missing (on some footage).
You guys need to play the Bonamasa with metal. That is so sweet.
I don't understand what I am doing wrong with mine it has excellent wah sound on clean but with any kind of distortion it's not making much difference can anyone please help me it's frustrating
They should have done a swap over.. play metal on the Clarke and blues on the dime…
Should have swapped guitars guitars per wah. the RR on the Gary-wah, and the Pennywise on the Dime for the ending. :)
i wonder if the dimebag reissue is the same as the one they made 5 years ago? or did they upgrade it?
Much prefer a VOX wah.
is the new dime pedal different from the one 10 plus years ago except for the cosmetics?
I doubt it. That pedal is a very popular model for Dunlop.
If that dude doesn’t sing. He should give it a go
Lol

Hahahahaha you two are fucking hilarious
Have you checked the fucking price of copper lately? That's why it's expensive and also why it looks cool as all get out. Yall looked up several things during this video, but couldn't find the time to figure out what has actually gone into the Gary Clark Jr. pedal. To be honest the dimebag wah sounded more like a slightly irritated frog and not like a crybaby at all. If you like the looks and the skater tape then buy it, but the 535Q crybaby does a better job at a wah. If you want a no nonsense wah with more of a female vocal characteristic and if you like copper then get the Gary Clark Jr. Wah. The Wylde Wah is much better than this in my opinion. I feel bad that they're just using Dime to make money (like what you were saying about the GCJ wah) which makes me sad. GCJ wanted a wah so that is why they made this.
I have the Zakk Wylde wah and the 535q as well as the Dime wah. I actually prefer the Dime wah if you learn how to use it properly it can do sound like the 535q and the Zakk Wylde wah. The Dime wah is the most versatile wah I currently own but if you don't know how to use it, it will sound like complete crap just like any other pedal or amp.
@@iemetalguitar6431 Can you get Jerry Cantrell signature wah wah pedal tones with the dime wah?
.... il take the dunlop..... hahahahha

hilarious hahaha
I “liked” this video despite the faces. So many faces. I may not be so generous next time 😉
how complicated wahs
This is a metal wah .... plays blues pentatonic scales 🤣
Maybe that's because it's named after a guitarist who often played pentatonic?
Dime played pentatonic quite a bit actually
It is named after a guy who cited Billy Gibbons as a major influence.
Metal is about tone more so than the scales you play. You clearly don’t know a lot about it if that’s your only take away here lol Dime played pentatonics all the time bruh. As well it’s not all purely pentatonic here. He’s using the flat five and other passing tones. Pentatonic is when you’re only using the five main tones. Hence the ‘pent’ in ‘pentatonic’.
