Thank you so much! It means the world to me that you've been along for the ride! ❤️ social media can be a weird place but comments from yall make it so amazing for me!
My husband was asking if you were the same Leighann I've been watching for years, and he started watching with me lol. The girls are just so beautiful and they are getting so big!! Please tell them to slow down!! Sending you all lots of love and so many hugs!!!! ❤❤❤❤
You and Grant have done such a great job with Christmas at your house and the girls were just the cutest on their Santa visit. Merry Christmas to your beautiful family!
The outfits!!!! So precious from Robin's shoes to Lucy's dress to your skirt and sweater! And to see Grant smiling and singing with you brought such a smile to my face! Wishing you and your precious family a Merry Christmas and a Blessed, Happy, Healthy New Year!!
Oh, I did work with a boy for 7-8 years at school, I started working with him when he started his eye/touch device training. It was a tobii. We had a good learning curve together. And an so amazing when he understod how to use it. It was a game changer for him. So I am so happy that Lucy will be able to use one😀😀
I LOVE the outdoor decorations, I wouldn't change anything unless YOU don't like it...sometimes more is more!! Both of our children were amazing napers, twice a day naps till around 4 yrs old then went down to once a day all the way thru Kindergarten (the program was a full day with naptime after lunch) Once we began homeschooling, I adjusted their school day according to what each child needed. Merry Christmas God Bless
LeighAnn blessing us with the Christmas vlogs lately! 🙏 You've been posting so much Christmas content, it feels like you're doing a version of Vlogmas.
Love all the face time we got of Robin this vlog! ❤ I love Lucy girl but sometimes I feel like she steals the show most vlogs 😅 Love watching you and your family. Merry Christmas! 🎄
It’s not frivolous if it brings you joy!! Being a mom and on top of that, a special needs mom, you need your cup to be full so you can pour into your babies!!!!
Leighann my oldest turns 18 this sunday and i just have to tell you. I started watching your channel when she was 7....😢 I'm a mess this week but i am so happy for your vlogs ❤❤❤ merry Christmas 🥰
🎄Merry Christmas to you, Grant, Lucy, Robin and Luna-Bean. The girls looked adorable while seeing Santa. The pink tree is gorgeous and so are you as always LeighAnn. ~Love and Light♥️Carli xx
Our girls are the same age (to the exact day! Twins!) and my daughter does the same thing sometimes just refuses a nap for days straight but in my opinion she absolutely still needs one lol. She is so much happier in the afternoon and evening when she has one and isn’t overtired at night!
The girls are absolutely adorable and so happy 🥰 I love all of the Christmas decorations too. Your home is beautiful and festive inside and out. It’s my favorite time of the year too.
Ooooo…both my girls stopped napping EARLY! One was about 22 months and second was just past 24 months. They still had a quiet time in their room where they could play quietly and read or whatever. Their rooms were sparse with toys and everything was secured to the walls. Doing home daycare I really needed the break in the 10 hour day🤣😜🤣
I just love how happy your girl's sweet faces are. My kids all stopped napping at different ages. My oldest napped until kindergarten and my youngest refused to nap after 18 months old. It's so hard to know. Each kid is so different. I cried when my daughter stopped napping at 18 months haha. I was tired and wanted that couple of hours. Once I came to terms it was fine, I just was bummed my kid free productivity time was gone. Eventually I figured it out, it was just a transition I wasn't expecting so early.
Our son stopped napping not long after he turned 3 some kids give it up at 2, I still think they need quite time in the afternoons even if they don't nap.
Leigh Ann you are the most amazing mom. Grant is an amazing dad. I get so emotional when I see the girls. I was with you through pregnancy with Lucy. You were so beautiful and happy and then your most beautiful daughter was born. You’re the most perfect mom god sent to Lucy!! Robin is so beautiful and such a happy baby! I love watching your family go and making memories. That skinny tree is so gorgeous. I know the girls are so excited watching you make everything so sparkly! Merry Christmas to you and your family.!!!
Girl, another great video! The girls are so cute I just love their smiles. It was so funny watching the squirrels in your back yard when you were trying on your new clothes , Vicki 🎉
She’s starting to meet those milestones that Neurotypical kids are meeting. About three is when my son’s started boycotting their naps too! First it was that morning nap so we altered their schedule just a little bit so that we could try and get a longer afternoon nap in. That also only lasted for a little while before even afternoon naps were off the books.
yeah that’s what my mom is saying too. She’s been a one nap girl for a long time but she needs them. I think she has to work a lot harder than other kids physically to just be awake and playing (not counting all her therapy) so she needs those long naps. Truthfully I think something is going on with her but I’m hopeful it’s just standard 3 year old stuff 💙
@ that’s probably 100% true. Our pediatrician recommended Neuro swamps I think she called them. My seven-year-old still has trouble winding down at the end of the night so we try and do something short that is mentally and physically demanding on him so he will start shutting his own brain down when we’re done. For us it’s a dance party or he will act out the book that we’re reading. Obviously would be tailored a little bit different for Lucy, but I’m sure you’ll get it mama! You are absolutely amazing with her and for her and you always figure it out! She is just so smart and has so much going on in her brain she cannot quiet it down to go to sleep!
I want to say I take my Pomchi to see Santa yearly. It's a fun time for him and me. For medical reasons, I had a hysterectomy when I was in my early 20s, so I'll never have kids. Adoption is not on the table. I am single and struggling myself. Anyway, I've followed you for a very long time. I love your vlogs, Leighann, and your girls are growing so fast. They are absolutely adorable. I love, love, love the Christmas decorations.
It's like Christmas with the kranz movie .the neighbors say when is frosty goin up on the roof.? Lol..u r very pretty Leighann ,luv your hair ..your Xmas 🌲 pictures will look good in front of those Xmas 🌲 trees .Merry Christmas to u and your loved ones..
Robin looks so much like me when I was a baby that I had to run into the bedroom to look at my baby picture because I was feeling so deja vu-y just watching her! I was really glad when you moved the little Evelyns back, I was worried for them when they were so close to the edge😰 💝🎄🕊
Every year where I live in Deming Park all the schools decorate a part of it and they have a contest to see who did the best and its awesome, they have a Santa shack where the kids can take pictures and get a candy cane. My kids are grown but, I love to see how they decorate.
I’ve watched your content for years and for some reason, it is only this year that it struck me how odd it would be from a perspective of living where we have snow at Christmas to not have that…I think it may be nice for a change. Only for one time though…Just to be warm…Thanks for posting and have a lovely Christmas with your family!
My daughter stopped napping around 2 years old. We changed it to quiet time where she can play a bit, read books, something with low volume and low input from me 😅
My daughter dropped her nap right around her 3rd birthday. First it started with her fighting the nap, then it started affecting her bed time. We had to make her bed time earlier when she dropped the nap for good. It’s been over a year and she still naps sometimes if we have a really busy day. I just have come to accept that most of the time, if she does nap, bed time is gonna be a struggle that night. It is what it is. 🤷🏻♀️
The Gingerbread House blow mold should go inside the house somewhere! Also why am I needing Robin to have a pastel purple and blue tree and Lucy a pastel pink and gold tree??? The babies do not need trees, but HOW CUTE? And Robin LOOOOVED the lights so much!!!
My toddler is the same age as Ms. Lucy and we went through the nap boycott a few months back. It was HARD to figure out, But honestly it's a lot easier in many ways because we can plan for it now. Her bedtime is much earlier w/o naps. Generally it's best to still offer the nap if possible. So we ask ours if she wants nap or quiet time. The holidays are hard for sure.
I don't know. I thought the outdoor decorations were brilliantly joyful and absolutely the more the merrier. Houses with children should look like Christmas threw up on everything. It's magical and amazing. LOL
My son still naps at almost 4! I fully believe they need naps. If he doesn’t nap he can make it through the day but he’s not able to emotionally regulate as well
i believe that too!! I totally get you on the emotional regulation needs. Lucy needs her sleep so much so it’s hard to see her miss out on it. I think this is a phase or something is going on that will pass.
I absolutely love all of your decorations! All I kept thinking was how glad I am that you don’t have a cat haha! My husband and I got two cats four years ago and can’t do decorations anymore because they try to eat/destroy them🤦🏻♀️ Thankfully I can live vicariously through yours!🎄🤩
Merry Christmas!!! You and Grant are such wonderful parents and Lucy and Robin are adorable and such sweetie pies! Question. I hope this question won't upset you... where is Luna?🦮

My son is 5 and will still nap if i ask him to. My daughter is 3 and still loves a nap. If my oldest doesnt want to nap, he has to stay in his room for all of nap time and play quietly. I dread the day my 3yo stops napping because she won't be so agreeable.
As someone who never had the luck to have a child of my own and now I am able to have a dog, I have taken my small dog Darrell to see Santa for the last four years. I am kind of surprised at your reaction to the idea.

It was clearly more of a slight against the lack of opportunities for special needs children and not against dogs. Leigh also has a dog (with disabilities) of her own so definitely not derogatory towards pets.
