Cap - I’ve watched your videos daily for a long time. They’ve always been great, but it seems like the colors, clarity and sharpness are even better of late. I don’t know if you’ve changed anything deliberately, but the video quality is so rich. I also think the new close up locations really make the videos pop too. Put all that with your commentary, and it’s just awesome. I look forward to new videos every day! Take care.
How cool was that ??!! >>> getting to see the maiden arrival of the Finnair A350!!! Awesome!! Spectacular filming. Captain!! -- especially all the 'Big Ones'!! 😉😉 Glad everything turned out good for the Delta emergency aircraft. 🙏🙏 Thanks!! 💕✈✈💕
Thanks for the laugh out loud commentary! You inspired me to start my own RUclips channel! Very great of you to take the time to honor and respect those who are dealing with tragedy. 🙏
I actually saw both of the big jets on the 16th of June, BAW60T (777-200ER) and 4Y64, (Finnair's service covering for Lufthansa after the A343 doesn't land at Tampa anymore), Sad to see the iconic A340 fly above my school during dismissal to come land at Tampa.
Nice to see Finnair's plane over there. I'll Finnair's plane's almost every day, but I live in Finland. I just saw few day's ago very rare visitor in here. Airbus A400M (RAF). That was a real beaty 😍
Just watched this today. Was 1L closed? Your viewing spot on the southeast side was great! Elevated a bit, parking garage maybe? Can’t use that anymore?
Temperature in Boston dropped 20 degrees in 10 mins yesterday after the wind changed to NE from SW the water is very chilly up there still so it is like free Air conditioning. Nice approach shots today 👍🏻👍🏻
Dear Kapitan, you are most knowledgeable of aircraft and their operations, which prompts me to ask if you are or were in the airline industry. Are you still working or retired. Thanks
Skipper, that had to have been a former United pilot flying for Delta who put that 757 into the wall of shame. I bet he will understand the problem with that as soon as he lands!
Great video as usual Captain Steven. What does 'aarf' stand for? Is the Finnair regular service? Is your new secret space at Sheltair rooftop? Thanks again. Hi to Jackie.
They Fly for Eurowings Discover for the whole summer season due to aircraft and Crew Shortage at Eurowings. Finnair has surplus aircraft due to lass flying to Asia because of covid 19 which affects manny Regular Finnair routes.
@@rainerfichtl3210 Yeah the other reason for Finnair surplus is they can't use the Russian airspace to Asia. Now they fly FRA/MUC to TPA/LAS for Eurowings (wet lease).
Why put something out to pasture when it's still perfectly good, are these jets sold to other countries?? If so, I hope the mechanics are as good as the USA's.
It's not that the planes aren't good any more, it's because there are newer more efficient models online that cost less to operate. Some of the planes that are relieved of duty wind up either going to overseas airlines or get converted to freighters.
@@CaptainStevenMarkovich Any foreign carrier that flies to the U.S. had to have a high level of maintenance otherwise the FAA wouldn't permit them to fly in U.S. airspace.
Good job turning in a lost suit case/ computer bag. I hope it wasn’t a suspicious item!

Thanks Buddy glad you enjoy. I've been working hard on quality I've moved away from automatic mode and have been testing new manual settings.
Its absolutely amazing to see Finnair A350 🤩
Wonderful capturing ❤

Fantastic footage, cpt! Real nice capture of the first Finnair A350 at TPA.
Glad you enjoyed it
What a great video! That A350 is really big! Once again, you have outdone yourself! Thanks!

Wonderful as usual. Have a blessed day Captain White Sox.
I love your videos there very cool I InJoy the Airplanes thank you
Great landing by Finnair!!!!
Finnair!! my favorite airline and plane!! I have a 1/200 model of her and her sister Marimekko!
Capt. Your videos just keep getting better. Well Done!

Nice to see another European carrier into TPA 🛫 and an A350 too!
Thanks
Super Thanks Brian
My pleasure... keep up the great work!
Great capture captain! Saw the departure over my house and boy oh boy do those engines sound nice!
Very cool!
Captain I live up in Maine there called back door cold fronts they come north to south and cool things down a good 15 to 20 degrees sometimes
Thanks explains it thank you
Were there actually a bunch of people waiting for the special plane?
Great video as always but added the 350 and a Max as well. Think about more afternoon spotting videos.
Nice! I would like to record myself and see more FinnAir.
I'll say it again, these tin babies are gorgeous.
You should do more afternoon spotting! Maybe a few dinner time rush hour spotting? Love the vids!
Yes, but i wait till fall its too hot now
@@CaptainStevenMarkovichyes captain do some dinner time rush hour plane spotting Tampa international

I believe Eurowings is wet leasing Finnair 350s for this route from Frankfurt to Tampa
EW👍
Yep exactly
I love a nice pair in the afternoon !!!!
That was an awesome episode!!! Thank you for your efforts!!
At 28:59 what is the big white plane with the red stripe?
Why are there 2 United planes at airborne?
Maintenance
is that ural airlines a320 in the background a sanctioned flight from europe that got moved to tampa?
Gosh I didn't notice Ural was at TPA. They fly from MCO and FLL not TPA
where has the mini tri hauler (falcon) been i love that private jet
What is the blue and white looking plane at the second airborne building?
Unsure
11:41 did you know that painted buntings are a species of the cardinal family
Glad everyone was ok on the Delta flight, but I swear the fire trucks were going faster down the runway than a United 73 on their takeoff roll.
loving the new top secret location with northern ops
17:14 did you know that Florida panthers live in the Florida Everglades
I would think that there's nicer places for professional athletes to live than the Everglades. Lolz!
Nice turn & burn, could have moved a little faster, but I'll take it!!! Delta has canceled 130 routes for this summer I heard.
Yes staffing issues
I see that the Delta Skyteam N381DN went to ATL earlier this morning.
Dear Kapitan, you are most knowledgeable of aircraft and their operations, which prompts me to ask if you are or were in the airline industry. Are you still working or retired.
Thanks
Retired (ships Captain) now full time RUclipsr.
What apps do you use for ATC?
LiveATC.net but it doesn’t work at all airports that’s why I use the Bearcat 30 scanner
@@CaptainStevenMarkovich which airports does it work with?
Is the live ATC app free? What is the app called?
Have you ever seen any Lufthansa B787s? I just saw one this afternoon at SFO
I don't think so. At SFO it was always the 747
@@CaptainStevenMarkovich I saw that yesterday, but before that I usually see the Lufthansa A350 or B747-8
What happened with the emergency landing delta flight? What was wrong?
Hydraulic issues
You should do late night spotting to catch the Edellwiss A340
Yes that's a good one great suggestion

Hi. Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting. It’s a lease fir Eurowings not sure how often we will see the A350
Your Daughter is in Boston, mine is in Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass, not far from Boston.
Nice. Actually we have 2 that live in Boston
When you said nothing like a pair of big ones to get the day started I wanted to say that’s what she said lol
Perfect!
When I went to AMS back in January 1987, security was armed with H&K MP5 and Uzis. Those folks weren't fooling around!
They still carry these types weapons. I got stopped while filming where I shouldn't have been and boy did I see some guns when police arrived
Gorgeous A350.
Awesome job as always
Thanks again!
How can I get the ops special you get?
They have special group tours several times a year. Be sure to follow The Plane Spot on Facebook they will keep you up to date on everything going on
@@CaptainStevenMarkovich I don’t have Facebook!

Repairs
Only 19 more days until my trip to Frankfurt from Houston on the Queen of the Skies. I can't wait!

I’m not sure just easier I guess good question
Double 767!
Double prime air!

Atlanta and London Heathrow are the two busiest airports it's not just one airport it's two and actually London Heathrow is busier than Atlanta
LHR is awesome amazing numbers of heavy jets
But Atlanta is the busiest airport in the world if my numbers r correct
ATL 110 million vs LHR 90 million 2019
Of U.S. airports, LAX and ORD are busier than LHR in addition to ATL being on top of the list.
Condensation enroute!!!! Rain is recommended! That is all.
