Most females are envious of man's ability to sleep at the drop of a hat - even after a chaotic event.
Women hardly sleep. They may nestle down for a while, but they mainly snooze occasionally drifting into a light sleep.
Thus, it's always the wife that alerts her partner to the creak of a gate opening or the chime of a milk bottle as it topples over at night.
A lass that allows her husband to enjoy a nap in the afternoon only does so because her needs/objectives have not been fully met for that day. He may have promised to install the solar panels a little later on in the evening when the day is much cooler. Only then will she allow him peace and quiet.
His afternoon nap is not only annoying due to her lack of attention but also he has entered his own male space. Thus, she can not fathom his thoughts of which she finds frightening.

I much prefer having a community and family. If the laws and society truly changed I would certainly be on the plantation. It wont change enough in my lifetime though

A "Bachelor Tax" wouldn't be the worst IF the unfair marriage laws are removed. It would take away a lot of the risk that men currently have to take on, but you'd also have to apply a bachelorette tax because otherwise women wont want to get married without access to the golden parachute

If they want to incentivize longstanding marriage they should be giving tax breaks for marriages that last 20+ years and those tax breaks increase in rate every year beyond that. Additional breaks could be given for children that reach age 25 with no criminal record.
