Kampala is Uganda's national and commercial capital bordering Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake. Hills covered with red-tile villas and trees surround an urban centre of contemporary skyscrapers. In this downtown area, the Uganda Museum explores the country's tribal heritage through an extensive collection of artefacts. On nearby Mengo Hill is Lubiri Palace, the former seat of the Buganda Kingdom.

We are back at it again. Kamala City, busy oo. Boda Boda men waiting for their passengers. This road is bringing back memories. It isn’t too busy as usual. Was this early morning that this video was taken? Honestly, how do you carry your camera? Do you place it on your bag?

Thanks @Karen🌹❤🌹 Kampala City has such a lively vibe. It’s always interesting to see how the energy shifts throughout the day. Yes the video was taken in the morning.
Surprisingly I always carefully carry the camera in my hands

I feel very happy when I see our people going about their business. I remember days when strangers ruled us and all the businesses. You would never see a native selling things on the street, let alone walking about. It was not easy for someone to go into a shop and buy a shirt for example. Even if you had the cash, the shopkeeper would tell you in broken Luganda, "Tajja kugisobola." Instead of "toĵja'' as if it was some heavy sack to lift and carry. I am in my seventies and I can telĺ you how it felt. There were streets where were not allowed to walk through but a little of this changed after October 1962 and then finally in 1972. Many Ugandans don't know what it was like then!
Thank you for sharing this and other videos. Keep up the good work.
