Cold-applied plastic STiM B-AK-52-T Strela is a highly viscous material, equipped with a polymerization initiator (hardener) and reflective glass beads on customer orders.
Designed to obtain a thick-layer horizontal marking of the carriageway of roads (pedestrian crossings, directional arrows and lines, intersections, stop lines, as well as regional and axial lines on highways and highways) with high functional durability.
The approximate consumption for continuous marking is 5.0 - 7.5 kg / m², for structural - 3.5 - 5.0 kg / m² for profile marking, the consumption can reach 7.0 -12.0 kg / m2 depending on the relief profile. The consumption of glass balls with a retroreflective marking device is from 250 to 500 g / m2 (until the required value of the retroreflectivity is achieved). Recommended particle size distribution of glass beads is 400-800 microns, surface treatment is adhesive and flotation. The hydrophobic treatment is not recommended for cold-applied plastics. Transport on marking lines is permitted no earlier than 45 minutes after their application.
It is applied using a special marking technique, manually according to the template, with manual plastomarkers, depending on the type of marking (structural, profile, solid). Dilution of plastics with water and organic solvents is not allowed. Mixing between each other plastics of different brands is not allowed. Marking with plastics should be applied in dry weather on a dry road surface cleared of dirt, dust, sand and oils at a steady air temperature of not lower than + 5 ° C and not higher than + 35 ° C and relative humidity of not more than 85%.
Actual consumption of plastic depends on the state of the surface of the coating, the presence of surface treatment, the application method.
Packing: metal buckets 15, 30 kg.
Plastic is transported and stored in a tightly closed container at a temperature not exceeding + 30 ° C in compliance with applicable fire safety standards and regulations.
Transportation, storage of plastic and polymerization initiator is carried out separately.
Warranty period: at least 6 months from the date of manufacture.
Color: white, yellow, green, red.
Mass fraction of non-volatiles: 98 ± 1%.
Final drying time at 20 ° С 20 min.
Diffuse reflection coefficient (brightness, whiteness):
for white, not less than 80%;
for yellow, not less than 60%;
for other colors is not standardized.
