I just ordered an M5 2 weeks ago. What board and other accessories did you add to your M5? Thank you.

For now it's Beier SFR-1-HL an Heng Long speaker. The speed didn't change much (because it's a gearbox issue) but I wanted a better sound. Ultimately probably I will put Heng Long 7.1 board.

Is there sufficient internal space to put in a HL 7.1?

Yes. Beier is more or less the same size.

Any reason for wanting to change to a HL 7.1 board
The one that is in it seems pretty good would just be better if it had speed adjustment on it

@@coreyrich2567 HL 7.1 is easier to install. Essentially just plug and play...I think. But I just notice that the turret rotation and gun elevation are also done by servo, so the HL 7.1 may not be suitable.

@@kokhowe and it looks like the gearbox is a single drive motor not 2 separate motor and boxes

How did you pull the top off is it just the 2 screws under the back or is there more

There are two screws on each side under the fenders. It is possible but quite difficult to unscrew them without removing the tracks, but it is easiest to remove them.
