    I bought a second hand X10 Pro. It's my first ever detector and this video is really helpful!
    Being second hand, it didn't have an instruction manual, so it's nice to have everything laid out, with demonstration.
    Keep it up. Thank you, it's much appreciated!

      Ayyyy, welcome to the detecting team!
      You haven't made the wrong choice, unless being clean and organised is your thing haha!!
      I'm kidding, it is good fun, just don't expect to find something every time!
      Any more help with this mini beast of a machine, I'll do my best to help 😀

    Very useful video. Please do more. I'm considering buying one of these.
    Could you show how to set up the ground balance for wet beach environment please?

    Hey Bigfoot love your video on the x10 Pro. Yours and addicted to bleeps are about the only two out there that I can really understand and get into all the rest of them are in some foreign language that I don't speak. LOL. Thank you for making this video. I'm getting ready to purchase one of these as a backup machine. I used to have the standard X10 which I loved but sold last year. Take care and stay well my friend.

      Definitely a great choice as a backup machine!
      Take care also buddy and good luck out there 😊🤞

    You did a great job with the video!.....You are right about finding videos on the X10....There are not many out there. The Quest X10 is a really good detector for the money...I have the regular X10 and the X10 Pro....I will use the Pro for the underwater hunts....Your videos are excellent and you don't ramble...Don't sell yourself short...Keep up the good work!....See you on the next video!...

      That's really good to hear, I hope I have covered the majority the machine has to offer and that this video helps people when using the Quest x10 Pro/help them decide if it's the machine for them.

    Nice one mate! I’ve got one of these on the way to me in the post, it’s going to be my first detector to start this new hobby of mine! You’re right in what you said about there not being much content out there about the X10. Having said that I did choose the X10 pro after watching the videos that addicted to bleeps made about the detector.
    I’ll be detecting around the south west too so I may see you about ! Good luck!

    Hey man, thanks for the video! It's really great you took the time to make this - it explains a lot - although I'm still a little bit confused with mine. I set it up the best I could, but I seem to get so many random ghost beeps.. I'll even hide a coin and the thing passes over it. Could you explain the best general settings, maybe the ones you use? A short video would be even better! Thank you :D

    • @bigfootfinding7019
      @bigfootfinding7019  Год назад

      Unfortunately, ghost bleeps are always a factor, but if you lower the sensitivity a little bit, it should clear up for the best part.
      When you say you place a coin under the detector, have you buried it, or led it on the ground?
      You are very welcome, I'm glad I could help!

      @Hilts931 Год назад +1

      Thanks for your reply! I used a Canadian dollar coin so fairly big and clear, ontop and just below dry sand on a beach. I took it home, redid a few settings and went to another artificial sandy area with sun loungers near the lake. I think it worked too well as it seemed to pick the ground level they had built the sand on... I don't have a pointer yet (ordered on) so maybe that will help me.. @@bigfootfinding7019

    • @bigfootfinding7019
      @bigfootfinding7019  Год назад +1

      Ahhhh yes, that may be part of the issue.
      Unfortunately the x10 can be a little dicey on the beach, I don't have a good video in this area, as I tend to stick to the fields, but definitely worth a good look to see if anybody has got recommendationsin the area!
      A pinpointer will definitely help, but due to the mineralisation it can have its issues too, depending on the type, pulse action etc.
      Good luck and happy hunting!

    And have u taken it to the beach yet.

    Just trying to learn the functions.

    • @bigfootfinding7019
      @bigfootfinding7019  Год назад +1

      It's really difficult to be honest, buddy.
      If you can turn it up all of the way without too much interference/noise do, but the best I can recommend is to go as high as you can, still keeping the machine quiet!

  • @baneverything5580

    How many inches will this detect coin sized objects or thick gold rings in air tests? My Vanquish 340 hits an American nickel, which has the same target ID as many 14k rings, at 13 inches solid in air tests.

    • @bigfootfinding7019
      @bigfootfinding7019  2 года назад +2

      Unfortunately I really don't know about air testing, maybe in the not too distant future I could do it as a test?
      But I've definitely dug coins and buttons at 10-14 inches in the ground and if I were to purchase a bigger search coil and us either gold mode or all metal mode I know it would go deeper 💪

    Alô my friend..
    I already had the normal x10, now I have the x10 pro and I notice that the c6 mode is different from the old one, possibly they changed the c6 tone with this update to the pro..
    Of all the sounds, it seems the weirdest to me, doesn't it?
    I even thought that the detector was having a problem because it was used to the different c6 in the normal x10..

    • @bigfootfinding7019
      @bigfootfinding7019  2 года назад +1

      Haha I didn't really have a comparison but I definitely thought it sounded quite strange 😂
      How are you finding it?
      Have you noticed much of a difference between the two (obviously quite difficult to gauge)?

    • @kidspower740
      @kidspower740 2 года назад +1

      I feel it's the same machine, I notice this difference that I mentioned about the c6 tone.
      I also notice that it is more resistant to EMI than the old x10, because in certain places where there are power wires, the other was a little unstable, which had to lower the sensitivity to the 70's, and in the pro I can work with the sensitivity in the 90's being less sensitive in this aspect,
      maybe due to having increased the working frequency to 12 khz. I think...🤷

    • @bigfootfinding7019
      @bigfootfinding7019  2 года назад +1

  • @x5kox

    A few tips for ya: With the bigger coils it could get up to 30% depth increase (also yes it will be excellent for ya for fields-best coil for it is about 200 gbp ),all metal mode searches considerably deeper, the first two rectangles on the left (the discrimination) should be deleted in all settings (saw that in a few vids-it does help to not excavate alot of nails) and last but not least through a test in a vid it was established that if you detect a big hoard of coins (say in a pot or a pile) IT WILL SOUND ''IRON'' (the lowest grunt) ..

      @@bigfootfinding7019 Frankly you are doing very good with the finding itself and the area is awesome!I always thought that one first has to search with the intuition and then with a machine- a fascinating hobby Indeed - for some targets the x10 would greatly benefit from a big coil-I also think of maybe buyng one sometime its just a question of is there a better performing MD that costs less than the x10 pro with say goliath coil ..

      Thank you so much, I have definitely been fortunate with the area!!
      This is very true,
      The price for quality with the X10 is just amazing, but having more options would certainly be great!
      I'll have a little look around, but as far as I'm concerned I'm pretty happy with the X10 for now 😁👌
