    I have a doubt, if input is low, how will it turn on PMOS of first inverter, Vgs=Vdd only, which is not sufficient. This will only weakly turn on PMOS, so voltage level is not Vdd exactly

    How to shift ground level of a circuit?
    Soppose a signal is varying between (a to b), I need to change this voltage range to (c to d).
    Please explain.

    Hi,I want to ask you about your 1st circuit. The input is vcc, for the first inverter vcc larger than vdd, wont this make the mostube break down because the high gate voltage?

      He mentions at 1.34 that the input will be handled by high volatge devices.
      That means the ist inverter is to be designed using transistors which can withstand higher voltage

    Hi, my doubt is that when the output of first high voltage invertor itself is varying from vdd to ground then what is the meaning of using the second low voltage invertor?

      Since it is a buffer, we need to invert the signal twice to restore the original signal, using second inverter.
