it makes me ….proud(?)… to see YOU on someone ELSES podcast being interviewed with admiration. you deserve it 10x. nevertheless, i am happy to see your light being spread.
You, Joe rogan, Chris williamson and Andrew huberman are God sends. Thank you for changing my life. Not just in my absolute immersion into the world of archery, but also the world of fitness. I never ran distance until I found your content. I drank, smoked, now it's all gone and my focus is faith, family, and fitness. Thank you so much Cam Hanes for everything you do and the inspiration you provide for young men like myself
Your book Endure has been one of the most influential books I have come across. I’m 29 years old, I got into shooting a bow just over a year ago and I’m hooked. Your story and work ethic is truly something to aspire to. Thank you for beginning a podcast.
"Truth is I have always worked really hard because I never felt like I had a ton of natural skills or talent. It would feel unnatural for me not to have a regular job. I feel like such a life is reserved for someone who is a star, and I don't think I've got that, so I grind it out. I grind it out during training and I grind it out at work." Love this quote. It has because a mantra for me. I will never miss an episode of this podcast. Thank you Cam. By being you I've begun to believe more in myself.
I’ve been listening to Rogan, Jocko, Goggins and the former Keep Hammering podcast for years, but the Keep Hammering Collective has not only surpassed Cameron Hanes original podcast, it is quickly surpassing all other inspirational podcasts. Not in the way some people might think of as your stereotypical inspiration, but in the way that this podcast tells the story of how regular people decided to dedicate themselves to something and then give it their all. Through that they have achieved a level of success that so few people achieve, because they lack whatever that drive and discipline requires to make it happen. These stories show a real path and that you don’t have to be born into money or status or even have unnatural talent to become great. It’s a choice that you make to overcome adversity and the mental obstacles that hold us back. What I love most about this podcast is that so far, every guest has incorporated FAITH into the equation as to how they have found the strength and the ability to persevere and overcome everything life has thrown at them. It’s not common to hear some of the most successful people out there speak publicly about the role their faith has played in shaping their success. A very powerful podcast I’d recommend to anyone who wants to see real life examples of how you can change your life from ordinary to uncommon through your own actions and not live your life in default mode. This podcast has inspired me to work harder and longer even when it’s cold and wet out. My body wants to give up or clock out early, but my mind is stronger when I am reminded of what uncommon looks and feels like. That’s what this podcast is, Uncommon. Thank you Cameron Hanes and all of your guests for sharing your stories and for being examples of how we can achieve what it is we want most in this life. Buster Hanson
Two of my favourites. Chris is the best podcaster here in England for sure. Cams new pod is great, really relaxed way about him. Great guests and convo's so far.
I'm 3 weeks late to it but this is one of the most powerful conversations any unbiased individual human can experience. 2 people that come from entirely different beginnings that originally only have a minuscule amount of common interests with possibly a couple mutual friends, still defy everything an everyday headline will tell u wut people r about.
The title of this podcast encouraged me to send the shower to ice cold this morning. I had a really tough time pulling the trigger. I did it though. performance without purpose. You just do it, because it’s the better better move. I feel good. Next step kettlebell/ row machine
Listened to this today, new listener...Don't judge yourself Mr. Hanes you are already an inspiration, real power lies in weakness and softness, there is no "other people", what we see in others is just a projection that exist in us, as long as we think ourselves separate from others it is difficult to find peace, when you feel peaceful in nature is because nature is just being itself and our being starts matching it.
Crazy how looking for videos to try and get better at bow hunting Roosevelts in Oregon led me to this whole new world of podcasts by such inspirational and amazing people. Just another way that bow hunting has made me a better person.
Your layers of paint serve you so well, Chris. Excess partying and being a Playboy can only take you so far. One of are finest modern day heroes and re-purposing philosophers. Choose your suffering and pain or let pain and suffering choose you.
This is what i listen to podcasts for, you are both massive inspirations. Physical and mental badasses. Also i agree about purpose being the most important thing a man can strive for. We can endure anything with the proper respect and admeration.
That was my today's run buddy, and I can't be grateful enough to have lived and witnessed such a discussion 🙏🏼 Thanks to both of you for all what you're doing to leave an impact in this world 🫡

I love these lift run shoot podcasts Cam! I also love the fact that you have the book Wild At Heart. God is real and He has a purpose for all of us. Your’s I believe is to reach others through bow hunting and your platform for His glory! #KeepHammering
Absolutely true. I went through two things in my early 20s that almost killed me. For months on end I thought I was going to die but now looking back it has made me the driven, hardworking father I am today. Unfortunately I cannot relate to 90%of men my age because they are just whiny, lazy betas who are too emotional to think clearly.
I’m too depressed to hammer. And too poor to buy a bow-hell, I wouldn’t even know where to start. But I’m glad there are people out there doing it. Archery is cool.
I've been watching your channel off and on for a while now, but your anti-tribal talk in this video is speaking my language. We need more Sam Harrises in this world. You earned my subscription with this one. 🤘
@Cam, enjoyed your book very mutch, thx for sharing your story, i like your podcasts too. Your story Cam shows me that i can move harder, reach for higher goals, and first of all keep on f... hammering every f... day, even with a 9till5 job. @Chris Williamson, regular listner of your podcast. thanks for your work. And Rogan influanced me too :D. All you guys (Cam, Chris, Rogan, Huberman, Fridman, Goggins, Jocko and so on ..) bring so mutch value and knowledge in my live! PS.: Cam, the titel which plays at the start and end, awesome! My new start in the day soundtrack ;) best wishes from Dresden, Germany
When I was a kid I grew up thinking I was a monster because I was a man. My grandma had a horrible father who had 8 kids and repeatedly molested them all & would line them up & point a shotgun at them. This story was told on repeat to us from the time we were 10-12 years old. I remember thinking why am I being told this. Is it because they think I’ll be like this if they don’t constantly remind me. Needless to say they aren’t welcome in my life anymore.
Great Episode! Well done to you both Cam, I can't thank you enough on how you have inspired me as a man an Archer, and a hunter. Huge fan of what you do, I try harder every day. The podcast is great, so happy that you're doing it. Someday I'd Love to see an impressive, influential inspired fan on the show, I know I would appreciate that, if there is a list in the making I'd love to me on it. Keep the podcast coming. Cheers!
at 54 i still have days of things from my childhood or my imagination... i feel that statement... like most men that were told suck it up in the 80's.. now they whine and complain... do it, live it, its one life... get over it...and live.
I understand Chris completely and feel exactly the same. At every job I have ever worked at I wanted to do such a good job that no one would want me to leave and would except me.
Awesome to listen to you guys! Alsatian is the name that parts of Europe gave to the German Shepherd Dog breed after WWII due to the negative connotations around the word “German.”
The difference in parenting styles is that you are truly present with your spouse and children when you are there, they are the focus in the mundane, your passion is your focus in the off times. You can be both without losing the relationship. It's the choice you make to be engaged in their lives not just your own. Just my two cents... love that I found this podcast as well as Chris'... raising a son alone with 3 sisters and absolutely zero men in our life in any way for too many years to count. Trying my best to teach him what a man is and not brain wash ultrafeminist views, so we listen to podcasts like it's a drug. Always learning!
Great Vid. I also enjoy Chris' podcasts. BTW, if you need anyone to (short run, lift, shoot and drink beers) I'm your man! LOL. All joking aside, you seem to be a natural at interviewing people, Cam. You have a very relaxed and friendly interview processes, that comes across as an interesting conversation between friends.
Chris, you're so completely transparent and thoughtful, you draw people in like me. ❤️ Cam and ❤️ you. So sad to hear you were lonely... whilst still empathetic and so curious and enchanting thirst for everything. You'll never see this but consider this a letter private or not...
Really enjoyed this one. Appreciate you mate!
Yeee! Keep getting after it Mr Williamson!!!
it makes me ….proud(?)… to see YOU on someone ELSES podcast being interviewed with admiration. you deserve it 10x. nevertheless, i am happy to see your light being spread.

Cam giving each guest a bow at the end of the podcast makes me really want to be on the podcast

Wow
Building my son’s new bunk bed, knowing this is the right way to spend my Tuesday night thanks to you pair.

This episode should be made into a book. The conversation is engaging with sensible perspectives.

Great interview - keep hammering Cam
Been teaching Wild at Heart for 17 years - great book to open up a mans heart to the Larger Story.
What a fantastic conversation with two role models. The vulnerability from both sides is beautiful.
I would like to nominate Chris Williamson into our group of knuckle-draggers to bring up our bell curve for intelligence.
Thanks

Great content as the internal demons don’t make us bad, not fighting them makes us bad
Two great men. Thanks for sharing the journey.
This one settled on me well. Thank you Chris and Cam.

That bit about political biases and polarization speaks to my soul. Great cast for real. I love it.
