My interview was in English. I was asked to choose in which language. Be honest and use your brain, the heart might deceive you 😂

You MUST have a German certificate. And i was asked if i can organise the rest of the money and i said yes so i left my documents went out to the nearest mpesa and sorted the rest. I guess it depends on who is attending to you.

I can’t remember how much it was, it changes over time and then there is the currency issue, so the fee depends on the currency exchange rate that day.

No! According to my last knowledge, the host family is responsible for that. Unless the rules have changed since then.

If you still have a purpose or reason for example a job, you can apply for your visa to be extended

English isn’t a must, your German is. Swahili is your native language and that’s enough for language exchange.

At least be in the course of learning german before you start looking for families. And go to the embassy website, they always have a list of requirements for each categories and this gets updated time to time

I never really know how to answer this question. Through work, having communicating with people the whole day, films ,English-German books ( the types where one side is in English and its translation auf Deutsch on the other side) and my host mum would take time to learn with me 😊
