I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this video. So much useful information. I use Canva on a regular basis. It is a wonderful tool. I can't wait to start making and editing videos in Canva now. Oh, the possibilities!!! Thank you Katie!
Great tips as usual!!! One other trick that I found in Canva with cutting down the timing or moving it to a certain part of the video: if you move your cursor and right-click on the line right under it the black arrow, you can split the item (video, text, etc) and then just delete the part you don't want/need instead of having to shorten it, move it, etc. I hope I explained that right LOL If you try it, you will see what I mean. 😀
Thanks, Katie! I have so many "editing" apps and subscriptions (almost as many as I have streaming 🤣) but I use Canva on the regular, so this is great. Slainte! ☘
Great tips as always, thank you Katie! One of the things that I love in your videos is the blurred background. Is this something you can do in Canva? Or is it another app or camera that you use?
Hi! To blur an image in Canva, select the image and go to the "Adjust" tab in the upper menu. Find the "Blur" tool and move the slider to the right to increase the blur effect.
Cool - thanks for the video. I gotta question. Can you make a video to show how to edit two videos in one page. When the page opens I want the first video to play and then stops and still be visible in the page and then the second video plays.
Do you use Canva for video editing? Comment below!
Every single day

Yes! Absolutely great editing tip! You explained it perfectly. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome! After all this time and I am still learning something new from you all the time :)
Great to hear, Betti! 🤗
I've used Canva to make quick animations to incorporate into my longer videos. I had no idea about the "show timing" function! Thanks!
That's a great use of Canva! Happy to help!

Hey Jim! There are so many editing apps available - it's nice to utilize all of Canva's features too!
Done is better than Perfect is my new moto. Thank you for all your help.
Glad to hear it! You are most welcome!

@@KatieLance Thanks! I was actually trying to blur Video backgrounds, is this something Canva can do?

Hi! That is tricky to do in Canva - I would recommend using a tool like Descript to do that type of video editing.
