To get a grasp on how good this band is you need to see them at The Deli in Norman, Oklahoma. I've been a rocker all my life but this is one of the greatest bands i've ever seen live. You are hardpressed to find band's these days that every song on there album means something to you. I could listen to this album everyday on repeat(because i do) and never get bored with it.
Thanks for bringing the keyboards into this. I can't stress it enough. The keyboards set you apart from the rest! Love you guys instantly! Saw you in Challis....one of the best in the 3 days of great music! Enjoyed talking with you all!
I saw them in Challis Id. at the Braun Brothers Reunion. They instantly caught my ear, kind of off guard. Their richness of vocals and clean less is more pickin, with the added pleasant surprise of the keyboards intrigued me. I bought their album, and it's in my deck on #1 right now. The Damn Quails....Hotter than you expected....
Great sound. Will watch for more. But bad camera work on the video. During the keyboard solo, which was fantastic, we never see any real clear shot on the keyboard player. I'm off to the Damn Quails' website to learn more about HIM.
