I sure hope the trash business isn't as cut throat as it was for me here in the South Arkansas area. Watching 4 trucks and 40 boxes leaving my yard for a new home was one of the happiest moments of my life!
Great video Justin. I was laughing so hard we said the leaves don't have trees on them yet. Yeah since February since I have been rockin and rollin been averaging 15 to 18 dumpsters a week My guy has been pretty busy. I have an order placed for 5 more 20 yd dumpsters can't wait until they get in. Glad to see you guys doing good Justin.
@@hhprogressiveconstruction1140 The price for Dumpsters has definitely gone up on up the 1st set of dumpsters I got was in October of 2020 and 20yd dumpsters cost me $4200 each. The 2nd set of 20yd dumpsters I received in November of 2021 cost me $5900 each. This next order of 20yd dumpsters that I should be receiving at the end of June beginning of July are $6100 each I ordered 5 more 20yd dumpsters. In total I have 4- 5yd concrete dumpsters, 4- 10yd dumpsters, 6 - 15yd dumpsters and currently have 6 - 20yd dumpsters after the next 5 - 20yd dumpsters come in I will have 11 - 20yd dumpsters.
I was laughing when I edited the video! I didn't even realise I said that! lol Glad to hear everything is going well for you! Our overall rentals are down from last year so far but may will be a big month if it keeps going like it is now!
Another great video! Question on the generator. Is there any way to increase the speed by revving the generator kinda like a lawn mower? I hear ya on the phone calls. I know they mean well but it’s starting to get out of hand. Glad things are starting to pick up! 👍🏼👍🏼
There may be a way to do that but not that I know of. This trailer is our oldest and is much slower than the two newer ones. Nedland actually is using a new pump on the trailers which has a higher flow now. I love talking to people and answering questions just want people to do it the right way
The should outlaw shared driveways . Fuel prices going back up it’s nuts $4.40 for gasoline and diesel is $6.09 here . Would be interesting to see last years fuel and todays fuel prices effecting your margins .
I got a mic and am using it in my next video but i got a new camera. I have almost always had a mic but now have external one. its a rode like you suggested i believe
I would like to buy you lunch and discuss your business model at length. After watching your videos I'm interested in starting my own dumpster business on the other side of the state. Let me know if your interested.

We have tons of competition here. at least 20 other companies larger than me. My goal is to sell my business at some point as well

Did you get hit bad with costs being super high on materials and labor per dumpster order .

Nice setup.. was thinking of something like this for my firewood.. I'd be able to deliver twice as much in a day..
I think it's a very complimentary business to firewood. From product acquisition to delivery.
@@TheDriftlessHomestead agreed 👍
You could deliver alot of wood with a setup like this!!!
Is that a non metal synthetic rope winch?
Also, have you ever had the dumpster fall off the rails when raising or lowering?
Our cable is metal. I have had them fall off the rails but not very often. you have to make sure your lined up just right so it doesnt

gas is 4.24 and diesel is 5.29 here I added a 20 dollar fuel surcharge to every rental so that should help but it is getting crazy
gas in pa is 4.69 and diesel is 6.19

How many loads a day can you dump?
4-5 on average
Nice video
An exchange with a hooklift takes about 5 minutes
That may be true in certain situations...
Faster or slower than a winch set up?
