CHÃO DAS SERVAS - The peaceful interior of central Portugal -O interior tranquilo

Chão das Servas is a village belonging to the parish and municipality of Vila Velha de Ródão, Castelo Branco District. It is close to the A23 motorway, 30 km from Castelo Branco, 12 km from Vila Velha de Ródão, and 204 km from Lisbon.
It was in this village that Manuel Cargaleiro, a great ceramist and painter, was born.
