More Cozy Vlogs! I have depression, anxiety and adhd and have found that I need to consume more cozy content that doesn't require anything of me or spark "must bunnies". I love me a cleaning/organizing/travel vlog but often it makes me feel the need or want to do something in response (like redo my whole living space!) So I love cozy vlogs that I can watch that make me feel like it's okay to not be busy and productive all the time! Sometimes I just need to enjoy the moment and that's super hard me to do! I've been really trying to make my life/home slower, calmer and more hygge.
I love this cozy vlog! I’ve followed Katnipp for a while, but travel vlogs aren’t really my thing. This is definitely something I’ll have to subscribe to see more of. 💕
I loved Boy and the Heron, it felt as if we really got to know Miyazaki in a sense that we only have seen glimpses of in other movies. His beliefs, his path in life and thoughts as it meant to be so. (Mahito is Miyazaki) so it's understandable not to be able to follow unless you connect with him on a specific topic during his adventure. I would give it another watch after learning more about the movie.
Please do a makeup routine video I actually love how the makeup turned out I think the lip color suits you!
Love this series! At first my brain misfired when I heard you say TK Maxx, in the USA we have TJ Maxx 😅😂 Thanks for taking us along, love the home gym set up! I would caution against painting the gym plates, we did it for ours and over time it's chipped so badly. I'm pretty sure we shouldn't be breathing in the dust 😮😅
The Boy and the Heron was, to me, Miyazaki's heartfelt tribute, expressing respect, friendship, and a poignant farewell to Isao Takahata. This sentiment is well explored in a recent documentary on Miyazaki by NHK. As a Japanese grew up watching the golden era of Studio Ghibli films, It's deeply saddening to witness Miyazaki grappling with the loss of his best friend and how it affected him afterward. It almost seems as if he was haunted by it during the making of The Boy and the Heron. “ Only Yesterday” is my favourited Takahata’s film, and it’s outstanding, but I don’t hear this often in the west. I feel a little that Takahata's work is often overshadowed by Miyazaki's success, but he remains one of the greatest animated film directors of all time.

Love the new series! As for Boy and the Heron I adored it. To me, the slower speed is what I like about Ghibli films. Most of them seem slower paced than an average Western style movie to me. I love just marinating in a Ghibli film, the pace, the characters, the plot, the ART, the MUSIC?! I have watched Ghibli films for the last 25 years, while Howl will always have my heart, The Boy and the Heron truly is one of the best to me. Loved hearing your thoughts!
I've really liked your cozy day home vlogs so far because they are so aesthetic, and also relaxing to watch, and you have a very endearing persona. The only thing I personally don't enjoy are the food parts because I have a problem where, when I see other people eat delicious food then I want to eat it too. And so it usually leads to me snacking or overeating because of FOMO and I want yummy foods too. So I know other people really love to see food content, but I like everything about your vlogs EXCEPT for the restaurant food and snack content.

My husband and I when to go watch The Boy and The Heron a few weeks ago. We also didn’t enjoy it as much as we hoped we would have. To be honest, the way I felt I could describe that movie was as if someone asked an AI program to “write studio ghibli like story” and the movie was the product.
Not to say it was bad per se, but the other ghibli movies are so good that it didn’t quite meet the bar!
Any ways, cozy vlogs are always great! 😊

Home vlogs!! So excited to see them again. 😁 The Boy and The Heron was OK. I am very glad I got to see it in theaters, but I agree with everything you said! Although I wasn’t itchy for it to end and I didn’t fall asleep. 😅 My favorites are Kiki’s Delivery Service, Howl’s Moving Castle, Totoro, and Spirited Away. 😊

I was the same with the boy and the heron, I thought the premise was there but the execution wasn’t there with the story. I didn’t think the soundtrack was what I was hoping for either. There wasn’t a stand out track that moved me like other hisaishi tracks do. But as always the visuals are stunning!
I been lucky..I had my gastric bypass surgery about 5 years now ..never lost any gait at all ..and I was in my late 50 when I had it done x

My thoughts on the boy and the heron... I think I have to agree with you, I saw the Japanese version not dubbed and I whilst the animation took my breath away and I was so so happy it was based at a traditional Japanese setting, I didn't walk away with a warm fuzzy feeling that Ghibli movies usually make me feel. I left feeling a bit uncomfortable and trying to process what the hell I just watched? I'm definitely keen to watch it again though and try and take it all in.

This was a nice treat first thing in the morning. I don't think I've run across this channel before (but I watch your other one). I would say - whatever you want to share is good! For me, being from the US, just seeing the differences in life from England is interesting to me. For instance, we have TJ Max, not TK Max. That makes me laugh - but the logo font looks the same. I love just seeing how people in other parts of the world live!
I love the cosy diaries to be honest I’d watch anything you vlog haha. Just a little tip with your Charlotte tilbury pillow talk set if you have deeper eyeshadow and a bit more blush it would look beautiful and will look better. Normally with lips a bold lip looks better with neutral eyes or just a liner and a pale nude lip looks better with a bolder complexion and eyeshadow look. It is still a beautiful colour on you to be honest xxx

Yes! Loving this type of vlog! 👏🏻 I set up my home gym (in my bedroom) a year ago. I use the free FitOn app and set workout reminders for myself each day (which is the only way I can stay accountable 😂). I too was underwhelmed by the plot of The Boy and the Heron but like you, I was mesmerised by the artwork and animation and as always the little details in each scene. For me though it doesn’t even come close to Spirited Away or any of Ghibli’s other masterpieces 💕

have to hard disagree with the boy and the heron!! loved this crazy world that the main character escaped into, really did seem like a dream world that the outcast uncle had dreamed up, a nice time travel element that was too overcomplex, and very touching scenes of real life topics, and so many fun characters, the wara wara, the parakeets, the old ladies, the first time i watch it the heron's character caught me so by suprise but a very strong character to me. i didnt feel bored at all in fact i felt so caught up with the storyline that it felt almost too fast paced but when I watched it again it was a very easy watch. Going to see it for a forth time soon!
