Been playing since Chinese beta and honestly it's gonne be one of those niche game when it comes to global release. Probably the popularity in the long run would be closer to PtN, PGR, or Limbus. The gameplay is basically 7DS Grand Cross. Not for everyone but it's pretty enjoyable for me, I love TBS games. The voice acting is easily the best among gacha games I've played and the story packs a lot of potential(still only 4 chapters). The roster are very diverse and the character designs are very good. There are many waifus, some husbandos, some children, a dog, they even have furries, inanimate objects like flying gauntlets, a shard of glass, an apple, and there is this girl inside 3 stacked TVs, wth?! Very creative designs. Niche gameplay and artsyle, But I do think that for the unique experience, the peak voice acting, the character designs, are what makes it worth trying.
Was about to say, the whole 'dupe card combine to create a better card' gameplay is literally just 7DSGC. Though, I personally am a huge fan of games that utilise dubbing potential to the max, and by that I mean the regional accents. Not many games do that these days esp on mobile, and the art direction in the game looks splendid.
This game has good potential. My only gripe is that there's a max of 3 in a party (not counting the assist) and I find that very limiting to the possible team compositions. At the very least, games like this should add a mechanic that lets you swap party members during battle.
I mean. You can already kinda swap. But after, and only after one of your unit dies. And most of the times you don't really need backup. This is actually not that bad. Because there's legit a strategy around this mechanic in the late game; basically triggering good passive like Leilani's extra moxies or La Sources debuffs and let them die early to get replaced by the actual unit you wanna play.
This is the exact same combat system as 7 Deadly Sins Grand Cross, right? And that game also had a 3 character party system. Anyway, since the combat relies on getting multiple copies of the same ability per turn in order to combine them - preferably close to each other, so you don't waste an action moving them - having too many characters in the party could make it difficult to use "leveled up" skills. 3 characters per party might actually be a good number for this specific system. I just hope there is an incentive to mixing you party around, instad of bringing the same 3 characters on every battle.

The first time I see FG go SO in depth in story and combat, even reading if you can believe it!! And it's Grand Cross's gameplay. Not a bad thing but I thought it would be mind-bendingly new if he went THAT in-depth!
I hate we don’t have an auto function. I prefer to having optional auto play so I can play while working or whatever. I mean, mobile should be more accessible
this looks good i really like combat it sucks cards are rng, but i like you can combine attacks and time skill is pretty cool as well, I'm kind of tired of auto attacking some these games, i want more games make want to think more in combat
There is honestly not much RNG in the game, given that you have 9 cards (3 for each character) and 6 cards per round, so you will usually have most cards as there is some overlap between characters (like most character have at least one direct attack damage card).
The combat is an exact copy of Grand Cross which is a positive for me. But while the animations look cool the ultimate animations are a little underwhelming (unless that’s a character rarity thing), but that’s a small issue they could easily fix in the future, just wish they were a little more flashy, love me some awesome ult animations lol
There is no RNG in the game, just to explain shortly: Disarm disables attack skills (the sword card of the enemy) Silence disables buffs and debuffs (the eye cards) and Seal can disable ultimates (the black card) So the disarm that was casted on the direct attacks did its job, but couldn't do anything against the debuff/ultimate combo the boss did later on.
A significant amount of people looking forward to this game are female, ♀️ but there are *no husbando male 6 stars. Many of us are hoping a handsome male will be added* sometime soon to the game. There's an androgynous non-binary (cuz he's not human and has no reproductive organs / no genitals (Medicine Pouch)), a dog (Pickles), and magical talking armor (Knight) as 6 stars. But no handsome man. ... 😢 For the sake of your growing female fanbase, please, devs, add some handsome male 6 stars. Don't let us down. Show us that we female spenders matter too. 😢🙏
Was it made by the same people who made Path to nowhere? Also since they're using some real world elements i wonder how much of real world history they incorporated into their story

I like that game's combat is challenging and complex. Kinda hard to learn every card mix but definitely it looks fun to play
