Ok you do understand the Bible was conjured by anchient uneducated men in the friggin 18th century right? So in keeping with the Christian values of that era, go ahead & shut your channel down cause women weren't allowed a voice in literally anything of substance. Not saying the Bible authors would burn you at the stake like thier followers often did, but a good stoning wouldn't be out of the question either. js
So, if someone is gay. Should they repress themselves just for God to love them? Isn't God supposed to love everyone unconditionally? If it's unconditional why repress? There are also so many other laws that christians break every day but somehow this one is the worst?
@@SeasonwithGrace That was so well-said, man… Adding onto that, we tend to forget that a “little white lie” is less serious than homosexuality or murder, but in reality it takes ONE sin, no matter how “bad” to be sentenced to hell. So even though I said the sinner’s prayer and am a confessed Christian and member of my church, I still lie. I’m still tempted to lie, and steal, and be disrespectful. But if I were able to cure it all without God… why do we need God? When I became a Christian, I did not automatically become perfect and never face temptation again, but rather the Holy Spirit now helps me daily to fight against it and to grow more and more into a woman of and like Christ.
@@Forest_Haze42 Well it does. You asked if this was worse and i said no. All sin is worse. God loves us all but love ≠ approval of everything. Repentance and Godly sorrow is the answer. As Christians we find our identity in Christ. God's love is unconditional which is why he became a man to die for us. And as Christ said: John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
imagine if they had a mental health awareness month to the same extent of pride, showing people of all backgrounds that they are loved and needed, especially men.
May is mental health awareness month. But you didn’t know that because you don’t actually care about mental health awareness. You just want a reason to denounce pride month because you’re miserable and homophobic.
Preach! I've done 4 years in a psyche ward und I have been struggling for so long. They just try to dope me up on so many Xanax even when I was 11. They had me on 3 Xanax bars a day when I was 11! That was over a decade ago und If you know anything about medication or benzodiazepines that's pretty much criminal.
It's probably the insane amount of tattoos but dear lord please lemme find an angel like this 👍🏿😍 somehow I can't even in though I live in Utah the last 15 years decade.
I have a (genuine) question for Christians then: Is it part of gods design that gay people are gay? If yes, why would a merciful god design people that way (to suffer, to not be able to marry one they love)? And if it’s not part of god’s design, then are there some things outside of god’s control?
@@danimal7195 but sexual orientation isn’t a choice. Straight people don’t choose to be straight, and it’s the same with gay people. This has been backed up by so much evidence. So it’s either god’s design, or it’s something god can’t control. Ultimately yes someone who is gay can choose not to engage in homosexual behaviour, but the feelings will still be there, because it’s not something they can choose or control. I understand that the behaviour is considered a sin and not the person’s nature, but that still doesn’t account for why god would let that happen in the first place.
@@Ash20223 We do. We are a fallen people who desperately need Jesus and God in our lives. Literately having “pride” as a month, one of the seven deadly sins, prove as much that we are going down a dark path as a society.

Hey, how come pride month is not like our own kind of holiday since God gave us the rainbow to show us that he will never flood the Earth again. And the rainbow came from god not the gay people
I don't hate anyone but it is unnatural but that doesn't mean bad or that I would treat them any different. My issue is with how much it's forced on everyone und all the special treatment.

Satan falling is not a good thing. If Satan can fall then you can too. Only God can be proud of us. Is God proud of what humans have now thought to be “their normal?” No. Does he love them?. Yes. But that doesn’t mean that the consequences of your sins will be dropped because of love.
Okay, you do have a point but there is abit of a flaw with the point of not supporting LGBTQ+/Being homophobic. The thing is, it's also a very big sin to hate/ discriminate talked about multiple times in the bible. Also as the bible says God shall forgive *most* sins if you believe in him and have faith. I am christian aswell and I think it's abit weird that we can't like the same gender. I do have to point out a simple fact that Eve was made from half of a mans/Adams body. Meaning she is technically still a dude since she was made by one and there was no women dna in her. Does that in theory make Eve trans? Reminder I am a christian and an Ally ((Yes we do exist))😊 not hate just my thought process
@@sweetlinggacha67 The bible has stated multiple times that all sins are equal and so that means thungs like jealousy and eating bacon are the same as being homosexual in gods eyes. And God shall forgive as long as you have faith and believe in him.

Im christian, trans and gay.. as that.. theres something called a “fri kyrka” (idk how to say it in english) but it means “free church” and a free church is that you can be in for an example lgbt but Christian at the same time and people kinda must respect you. That church lets people be them! Be free! I don’t think its wrong to be in lgbt as a christian, some christians dislike lgbt and are homophobic, then some christians are in lgbt or like lgbt and aren’t homophobic. “Love is love” they say, sexuality’s don’t prove personality, so if anyone hates on this, sure do that, just because i have a sexuality as a christian doesn’t make me rude, disgusting or anything, peace out. ✌🏻
Allow me to tell you a story from the bible. There was a woman and she was an adulterer and one day the Pharisees (the religious leaders) caught her in the act of adultery. And they dragged her by her hair to the feet of Jesus and said to him in front of the people he was preaching to "Jesus this woman was caught in the act of adultery and the law of Moses States those guilty of adultery are to be stoned. Do you think this is a fair punishment or should she be forgiven" they were trying to make Jesus look bad because he preach forgiveness so he couldn't say stone her or he would be a hypocrite but he couldn't go against the law of Moses because again he would be a hypocrite what Jesus replyed to them " he who is without sin among you let him cast the first stone" and no one threw a stone. All this to say you do not have the right to judge or to condemn these people for their sin and you are also a sinner and therefore are no better than the sinner you judge
I love this story because it really captures the concept of walking away from sin. There’s a verse in the Bible that says the love of God leads us to repentance, and I think that’s applicable here! Instead of Jesus saying “ it’s OK, continue to live in your sin. I’m here for you, and affirm you every step of the way!” He said “ go and sin no more”.
You're cherry picking the bible. Jesus's purpose is not yours. An eye for an eye is gods justice not yours. Jesus said "love your neighbor as yourself". That's explicit. I pray you remember pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before the fall. Your using religion to engender malice against a marginalized group is disgusting.
And depending on the version of the bible, 'he shall not lie with a man' or whatever is actually a mistranslation of 'he shall not lie with a boy' aka don't be a pedo. That particular version of the bible says nothing about being hateful toward gay people.
Yes, pride goeth before destruction, but the gay rights is also called PRIDE. You're defending the PRIDE rights by reminding Ava pride goeth before destruction... I'm confused.
Im a masculine 30 year old man who is only attracted to older men... and i mean like 60 to 75 year old men at that. Im a christian too. I was also molested by an older man when i was 10 years old. Im pretty sure for some weird reason that is the exact reason im this way and you know what? Im not trying to change. I like who i am.
It doesn’t seem like you’re showing a lot of compassion for my views, but isn’t that what you are urging me to do for your views? This is showing me that the compassion is one-sided. Truth is not relative, there is an objective standard of what is right and what is wrong, as a Christian I believe God sets that, and when I follow Jesus, I abide by His word. The reason I don’t like it is not because it is wrong to me, but because it is against God’s design, and I choose to conform to that rather than marching to the beat of sin.
@@anthonygroenewold hi Anthony! Interesting point you brought up, I am humbled by scripture and that is the authority over my life. Do I follow every passage perfectly? Definitely not. but that doesn’t mean I reject it, it just means that it has convicted me and I need to allow the Holy Spirit to work on my heart to sanctify me in that area.
Just because scripture says so doesn't give you the right to spread hate, very few people acknowledge scripture as an authority in the world, you have a very weak argument, go get a job and work with your hands instead of getting views from spreading hate and trying to make money off it
Hey there tyron! I’m not spreading hate, I am encouraging my brothers and sisters in Christ to submit to HIS truth vs. ours. And i agree, it is unfortunate but many people do not view scripture as an authority over their life but again, this message is not for them, but for those who are Christians. And don’t be so quick to make assumptions, i have had jobs since I was 11 and work with my hands everyday. I don’t make any money off of this and don’t do it for that reason 🤍
Man, the double standards be running rampant! I applaud you for handling all these comments with such grace and confidence. Thank you for speaking up, God has really blessed you.
Question is my family themselves great since be I believe is the one before if a man lays with another man is a sin it says eating shellfish is also a sin Also, it isn’t killing the greatest sin and for years people response to people breaking the man with the man was literally to kill that person or torch them aren’t they therefore committing the greatest sin And is there another one where it literally says if a woman is not a virgin by the time she is married she she’ll be stoned to death by the public I’m just curious, I’m just trying to understand all this stuff, never made any sense to me at all when I was forced to go to church and indoctrinated by Christian beliefs P.S. Whatever happened to love a neighbour? And treat others how you want to be treated?
Great questions! Most of these laws people cite when trying to prove Christianity as ludicrous come from the Old Testament mosaic law, which we no longer live under. The purpose of all those thousands and thousands of laws was to show us that we can’t follow every single one perfectly. The point was that one day there would be Someone (Jesus Christ) who would come and live the perfectly sinless life we can’t (because He came fully man and fully God) and would offer salvation and eternal life by grace through faith in Him. Most of the laws like not eating shellfish no longer stand, but the writers in the New Testament still made it known that things like adultery, homosexuality, and murder will always be sins. So it’s not true when atheists say “Christians are cherry picking the Bible saying being gay is a sin but not eating shellfish,” because homosexuality is still a sin under either law, old or new.
Loving your neighbor… Let’s define loving. A man rapes and kills three women. A woman decides to rob a bank and then commit suicide. Their friends do nothing to stop them because they think they’re living their best lives. Is this love? No. When I was a kid I’d play doctor with my sister and our neighbor. My parents did not see me pretending to be Mr. Robert with a broken foot and drag me to hormone “therapy,” and try to turn me into a boy named Robert. I also pretended to be an alligator and a unicorn. No trans-species therapy either. Why? I was a kid. EVERY kid pretends, that’s just what kids do. But now parents are taking their kids as completely serious, and confusing their innocent minds, making life-altering decisions (or the kids make them themselves) without being aware of the long term effects. Or if a boy hangs out with guy friends, he learns through social media this must mean he’s gay.
But homosexual relationships or anything other than the relationship between a biological male and female are not normal. We were created as women to be women with husbands, and men to be men with wives. This is how God designed us, and for those who insist God made them gay, homosexual feelings also came with the desire to lie, cheat, and steal. It’s part of our sinful world, it doesn’t mean these feelings are right. Love does not equal letting someone live however they want. Love is stepping in and saying “What you’re doing is wrong, let me direct you back to the right path.” When Jesus spoke with the woman caught in adultery, he told her “Go and sin no more,” not “Go and live your best life.” He loved her so much he reprimanded her and showed her the right way to live and the right Way to eternal life - Himself.
@@driftingmikeyI genuinely don't see how homosexuality is inherently wrong though? Also God never said anything about trans people, though many cultures have recognized a third gender. Not going to lie, your example was also very disrespectful comparing Homosexuals to rapists.
A MESSAGE TO CHRISTIANS ABOUT HOMOSEXUALITY: 1 the bible is pretty unclear about homosexuality, all the mentioned texts in the video are either political texts by humans or have a complete different maening by correct translation. 2 you can interprete whatever you want into the bible, and also believe whatever you want , just keep it for yourself 3 dont come to gay events and tell over speakers to the people that they are abominables or perverts and that they have to repent and life in celibacy to fit in your ideology, thats pretty STUPID 4 if you can respect homosexuales they respect you, if not then just ignore them. Have a great day. :)
thisss ^^^ Also, this one isn't directly related to LGBTQ but I've heard that Adam originally created Eve from like, half of himself and felt that she 'completed' him. @@pokipineapple5377 The complete discussion with those conservative christians is strange. Even though that women do work that require less muscles, its a fact, that women usually work much more then men (also as housewifes). Woman are not at all lower then men, just different. Men see better in distance, women see faster and better in the inmediate surounding, etc. Each has his quality and each is important. Too often religion is a mans wet dream.
Hey there! My faith influences my beliefs on politics and the opinions I hold, but apart from Christianity it is a biological fact that lesbian and gay couples cannot procreate and “gender affirming surgeries” will not make you the opposite sex. I care deeply for the victims of this movement which is why I’m so passionate. I don’t want to be insensitive to the sadness and hardship that comes with gender dysphoria, but I strongly disagree with the conclusion people take. There are other ways to counsel someone through a mental illness than affirming a lie that will affect the rest of their life for the worse. Thank you for your time watching my video and leaving a comment!
I am part of LGBTQ, but I respect this. Heres my opinion: If you do not support something, for example LGBTQ, it is completely fine as long as you do not go around harassing people for their beliefs. Believe what you want, just don't get mad at others for having different beliefs. I don't believe in god but.. May god bless you. Even though I'm not christian.
Or you could respect people. Not everyone believes in the Bible. You can think what you want, but don’t be upset when someone calls you homophobic, or behind the times.

Saying you’re a lesbian and a Christian is an oxymoron that doesn’t exist in Christianity. Being a Christian means abiding by the word of God and the practice of homosexuality is antithetical to our beliefs. ……Just a footnote: we can actually control who we love.
REMINDER TO EVERYONE: show compassion and love to others, regardless of beliefs. Everyone should be treated with kindness. This is one of the biggest lessons in Christianity. No matter someone’s race, gender, who they love, I will show love if they aren’t hurting anybody, and you should too.
I agree that compassion and kindness should be displayed in the Christian’s life and actions, but it is way more destructive and hateful to allow someone to fall into the trap of identity crises. It would not be loving of me to affirm someone’s lifestyle that leads to destruction when I know what will truly set them free. The biggest lesson in Christianity is that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God but through Jesus, we have salvation and redemption. Jesus is misrepresented In today’s culture, he wasn’t a walking coexist sticker.
@AvaCalhoun If it was God's plan for me to be born with the brain of one gender and the physical attributes of another, why is it WRONG for me move forward in my life? God makes people gay. They were born like that. So why do you feel they are lesser than you? Just because you believe in God? Because plenty of lgbtq+ believe in God. And there's plenty of religion lgbtq+ people who have been so bullied and hurt by YOUR message that they have killed themselves. I don't believe in afterlife hut I highly doubt you will be saved if you spend your life spreading messages that hurt more and more people every day. Hope someone comes along to show you that lgbtq+ people are not lesser just because a book written thousands of years ago by multiple people (none of whom were Jesus) says so.
@@melvinthebravefish9788 God does not make people gay, homosexuality is simply a result of the Fall, just like the desire to commit adultery or steal or anything else Jesus spoke against in the Bible. Ava never said LGBTQ people are less, but as a lot of people don’t realize, I am actually a sinner as much as they are. It takes one sin to be eternally condemned to go to hell, and it doesn’t matter how “bad” the sin may be. We have ALL fallen short of the glory of God, which is why we ALL need Christ to depend on for a righteous standing with God. If anyone’s message is harmful, it would be that of the LGBTQ community because it’s telling teenagers who struggle with body image issues like every other teenager with crazy hormones to question their entire existence and sometimes to take drastic and life-changing measures to start over with a new gender they can’t actually ever become. The Bible tells us we have been fearfully and wonderfully made, and that we are not a mistake. I am a girl, and no matter how much I may want to be a boy, I am a girl. I can be tomboyish, I can choose to wear black over pink and not wear makeup, but I cannot change the fact that I am a girl. God made me a girl for a reason, and I am willing to accept that and embrace the life He has set out for me.
@@anthonygroenewold Oh man, I typoed there… I am not a boy, and I am not transgender, nor do I support or promote transgenderism. I was born a female and a female I will be my entire life. Sometimes I’ve thought it’d be nicer to be a boy but never have I questioned if God made me the wrong sex or tried to be a boy or presented myself as a male. I am certainly more tomboyish than my sisters, but not all girls need to love flowers and skirts to be a girl. Hey Katherine, please don’t base your whole refute on an assumption, because I read the New Testament every day! And yes, we are supposed to love our enemies as ourself, but we are supposed to order our loves, and put God at the top which means our sin needs to submit to the truth of Gods word.
Ava, I really appreciate how calm you were in presenting a hot topic in culture today. I think it’s evident that those who want us to live by their definition of love, don’t adhere to it themselves. A lot of people “judging” you on here and not even in a “loving” way. I admire that you presented your Trust in God and His ways, with grace and Truth and in a calm and respectful manner. I think it would be helpful if everyone admitted that we all judge/discern between right and wrong! And that’s good! The question is, do we get Truth from ourselves, or from God? And do we present our beliefs in a gentle way? Great job on all of it! The comment section proves that everyone judges. ❤well done!
A very fair balance between conforming and condemning. The church has done a bad job frankly dealing with this issue. Fully embracing what is incompatible or invoking hell like they ain’t gonna fall thinking they be standing.
I love this! You are so right even though God loves everyone even those people he doesn’t want us to be mean but to set an example to others that do move to the wrong direction!
Idk why you think lqbt+ people are wrong, when its LITERALLY not your place to judge. Why do you feel the need to dehumanize and treat other people rudely when your own god says to love them unconditionally?
That passage, you stated from Matthew 7:1-3 is taken out of context, it doesn’t mean to never judge because right now we are both making judgment calls. Instead, it is instructing Christians how to judge rightly using the measure of truth that scripture sets! I never said, I don’t love them because I do. Which is why I’m passionate about leading them to truth! the fact of the matter is there in bondage to their own sin, and I know what truly sets them free. It would not be loving of me to affirm some thing I know is wrong.
@@AvaCalhoun it's so evil how you people tell others that "they're broken" and "sinners" that "need to be fixed" or else "they'll rot in damnation forever" over something they cannot control. a God that is good would never want anyone to feel that they need to tear away a part of themselves and hide it in shame when it doesn't hurt anyone, to love someone isn't something that's "wrong" and it's an awfully cruel thing to do what you are doing
@@honeybee8796Its not cruel. Let me explain lovingly even if it isn't what you wanted to hear. You are correct that person may not be able to control it. However they can't control it because its a demon. The demon feeds off your bandage and sin and satan causes you to feel and could tempt you to do vile things. Theres a video that explains this and i can send you the link if your curious. God is good and perfect. He is loving and to show us he loves us he sent his son to die for us so we can have another shot at going to heaven! He punishes righteously those who sin because they disobey him. Your wrong for thinking God wouldn't want us to tear apart of ourselves away. He does this because that very thing is weighing us down and is grieving him. Yet is pleasing satan the serpant who hates us for than anything and hopes we burn with him. It does hurt others because it's whats benefiting satan and feeding woke agenda to all who strive for Christ or those who want no part. Most importantly it greives our lord and heavenly father. And God would certainly want us to tear a peice of ourselves off if it gets in the way and causes us to continue to sin. In hyberbole it says "That whatever hinders us from yielding that obedience to God which he requires in his law, ought to be cut off" . It is here, however, that Jesus is pressing us to think through what must be cut off in order to eliminate hindrances from obedience to God.❤ I wish you the best.
All you have to do to become a Christian is believe in Christ. After that, you try your best to become more like him, trying to become more righteous and holy. Now, God is still good by wanting you to tear something from you that's a part of you. Christians have to do this everyday. I have the desire to have pride every day, the sinful part of me that's been there since birth has made me want to lie, steal, hate, etc. To be a Christian is to deny yourself that part of you. Every person has a part of them that's sinful. And we all have to deny it to follow Christ. This includes homosexuality. God made a design for marriage, and homosexuality activity and lust is a wilful denying kf that design. Now, you say that a loving God would not want people to try to tear apart from something they're a part of. But we do this every day! When I have pride, I have to try to tear apart from that prideful self that is a part of me. And you have to do the same thing with homosexuality. We are all fallen and have sin natures, and a good God would try to save us from these things and help us become righteous, and by doing this, we deny a fundamental part of ourselves. Hope this helps🙂
Let’s focus more on things that actually affect us rather than relationships we are not apart of. Let’s focus on love, compassion, and kindness or how about how to better ourselves rather than put others down. Let’s not cherry pick the Bible and come for a group that minds their business (unlike yourself in this moment). Till we are all able to do that, this video feels more like an attack than anything else.

Condemning and criminalizing a group of people who fail to carry out acts of hatred or harm, and just want to exist is purely unjust.
Well, aren't you sweet. Now please consider THESE scriptures: James 4:11-12, John 8:7, Matthew 7:1-5, Romans 3:23, Romans 14:10. And remember who has given ALL judgement, John 5:22. And speaking of swords, remember that Christ also said, "He who picks up the sword, so shall he die by it." Big hugs
@@imdatguy0224 So, your argument is, that by pointing out to this person that The Bible (which SHE is invoking) tells her not to judge unless she herself is without sin, is judging HER? I use biblical scriptures that are JUST as valid as anything she or you have come up with. It's kind of like saying that if you attack a Nazi for harassing and bullying someone, that you are as bad as the Nazi. Yeah ...see, that's not logic, that's just trying to justify the bully.
@@imdatguy0224 I'm not cherry-picking. All those scriptures which I provided warn to avoid judging others, which is PRECISELY what she was doing. You have proven nothing. But let me ask you this, since you are trying to defend judging others ...We have "certain" politicians in Washington (and around the country) who are guilty of various sins such as adultery, lying, Idolatry, thievery, racism, sexism, hate-mongering, and even child abuse...and many of these same politicians consistently vote against bills that would benefit the poor, the sick (even veterans), and the marginalized, and have publicly stated their desire to cut social programs that are vital to our elderly and our most vulnerable citizens. I NEVER see ANY videos judging them. Should we judge THEM also?
@@imdatguy0224 I read your comments. You were trying to "reinterpret" what those scriptures are clearly saying. And, of course, you are unable to address my last post. Typical.
@@imdatguy0224 In Romans 3:23 the message is quite clear. We are ALL sinners, and as such we have no business judging others, UNLESS, as we are told in Matthew 7:1-5, we have divested ourselves of sin (which we can never do, being Human), and thus can see clearly to judge our neighbor. But we are told in John 5:22 that ALL judgement has been given to Christ. Christ does suggest that (in certain circumstances, like defending the poor and weak) we can judge "rightly", but the problem there is when you judge out of contempt, or hate, or self-righteousness (because you "disapprove" of someone, or you just plain hate them), then you are doing the exact opposite of judging "rightly". Now, explain to me why it's so important to have twenty or thirty videos each week on RUclips obsessing over the sins of LGBTQ people and "pronouns", but it's OK not to have any addressing the multiple sins of the politicians I referred to. AND if further burdening or neglecting the poor, the sick, and the marginalized wasn't of major importance to Christ, then explain why He says that those who do NOT do for The Least of These are not doing for Him, and will go to their "eternal punishment" (and that's not even addressing the adultery, the pathological lying, the thievery, Idolatry, racism, and even child abuse). Understand, I am not questioning the scriptures regarding homosexuality...but then neither do I question the scriptures clearly condoning slavery, genocide, stoning people to death, acceptable forms of usury, or bashing the heads of your enemy's babies against rocks.
@@imdatguy0224 And ...I JUST referred to Christ talking about judging "rightly" (reread my last post), and explained that if (in those special circumstances) you judge out of contempt, or hate, or self-righteousness, you are doing the exact opposite of judging rightly. What I see in nearly ALL the videos like this young lady did, is judging out of "disapproval" or "disgust", or outright hatred. If this wasn't the case, all these "pastors" and lay persons would do at least an equal amount of videos (actually more) on sinners like the politicians I have described to you now three times. These "public servants" with an agenda of hate and greed have abused or burdened the Least of These (Matthew 25:32-46) over and over again, while enthusiastically stuffing more money into the pockets of the rich (you DO remember what Christ had to say about the rich?). Their litany of sins have all been made public, and yet....no videos about THEM (and THAT would be "righteous" judgement). In any event, remember that Christ told the crowd about to stone the prostitute to death that they could judge and stone her IF any of them was WITHOUT SIN. If the Holy Spirit isn't guiding us, we can find scriptures to hate or abuse all kinds of people (as pro-slavery southerners used scripture to justify slavery in the 19th Century), and ignore others we don't like (like for example, the demonization of migrants in this country when there are 22 verses telling us to LOVE the stranger in our land, and welcome them as "native born").
the bible doesnt even speak on homosexuality in a bad way it didnt even have the word till 1948 when someone rewrote n added it if u look at the Hebrew n greek version b4 translation it doesn't actually speak on it nor does it speak on wearing clothes of any gender n things was mis translated
Hun I'm good thanks babe 💖🏳️🌈 Also thank you for at least not being aggressive. (I said it before and I'll say it again a religion with hate is just hate and a page of the bible isn't enough to de-humanise someone X thank you for reading ❤️ and happy pride!)
How do you reconcile the fact that your biblical moral compass also promotes selective genocide, rape and even the perpetual enslavement of children? As Jesus himself said, he did not come to erase the old laws and prophets: _"I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot will pass from the laws."_ Sharing your disapproval for other people's happiness becomes tonedeaf when under your religion's oppression meaningless suffering was a daily occurence.
No, love, the Lord with all your heart soul, mind and strength is the one that trumps them all, and in order to love the Lord with all of you, you have to give up the parts of you that deny His truth and the freedom He offers us from sin. It would not be loving of me to affirm some thing I know leaves people in bondage.
I don't mind other peoples beliefs. I believe in a God, though after growing up Christian I don't believe in what their scripture says as it was written by humanity itself. I appreciate you calmly stating your views. As someone who does celebrate pride month because I am part of the LGBTQ+ community, it's always nice to see someone coming from a place of care rather than malice.
See that alienating feeling of people vocally disagreeing with your values? That’s how we feel every time someone reminds us that in the eyes of our Creator, we are abominations simply for experiencing feelings _we did not choose to feel._ I wish you every kindness and blessing but you can’t understand how crushing it feels
So true! I have family members in the LGBTQ+ community and as much as I love them I know what they are doing is wrong and I must be honest about that. After all, Jesus came to tear apart families.
God’s asking us “Do you love your sin or even your own mother and father more than you love me?” That’s such a hard thing to think about, but it’s so true.
@@Snurphle Why does it sometimes take years for someone to “come out” as gay or trans or any of the other thousand new “genders”? Usually because they’re scared of what people will think right? Because it’s not NORMAL. Females being attracted to females in a romantic way is contrary to the way God created us. If He’d wanted gay couples to be part of His perfect creation, why do we have Adam and Eve instead of Adam and Steve? Genesis 2:24 says “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” And that’s not just in the Old, totally outdated Testament; Matthew, Mark, and Paul all quote it later, emphasizing that this is still the relationship God intended and intends us to be in. This is the relationship we were made for. Going off your example, what if the government says “Murder is wrong. You cannot murder and if you do you will be punished,” but I really want to murder - it’s just a desire in my heart that I believe God made me to have and embrace. Is it wrong then if it’s what I believe is right? Is the government telling me I can’t have a cookie cause they’re on a diet a fair argument? With this logic you can justify virtually any crime. “God created me to sexually abuse women, therefore you cannot incriminate me because according to me, I’m not doing anything wrong, I am not on your diet.” Why don’t we tell the judges of murderers then to mind their own beeswax since their diet shouldn’t affect other people?
@@Snurphle flawed logic. As a Christian who struggles with a multitude of sinful nature, I’m not saying that people can’t sin because that is natural given our fallen nature. What I am saying that as a Christian I am not going to support sinful activity just because the world favors it. I will not support lying just as I will not support abortion or homosexuality because they are all sins. However, God gives us free will, and so if we *choose* to reject God and His ways, He will allow us to reject Him. You can choose to be LGBTQ+, and I am not going to hate you for it, but I will let you know what you are doing is sinful and goes against *your* eternity.
@@alwayseverythingg Homosexuality has been observed in over 400 species. Homophobia has been observed in only one. We have no proof that god, or any gods for that matter, even exist. Homosexuality is not wrong, no matter what you may believe, and neither is abortion or being a transgender individual. I will not change my mind on my decisions, even if they are “sinful”, because they make me who I am.
A Christian is someone who conforms to scripture rather than culture. And that statement is not a scripture. Jesus never “minded His own business” or commanded us to do that at all. Your comment is self defeating, when you tell me to mind my own business, you are aren’t following your own rules.
@@AvaCalhoun It's not hypocrisy to be intolerant of intolerance. I'm happy to live and let live, but that doesn't mean standing idly by while LGBTQIA+ community suffers at the hands of Christian "responsibility".
If you’re able to leave members of the lgbtq community to live the life they want and make the choices they want to make, why are you unable to leave Christian’s to live the life they want and make the choices they want? You might say the message of a Christian is harmful, but I say the message of a liberal is harmful. All I could say about Christians harming members of the LGBTQ community is that these Christians are not loving in the way Christ exemplified. We are not to accept the lifestyles of these people, but we are not to hate them either. Jesus ate with tax collectors and visited with prostitutes, but He didn’t accept them as they were, He gave them the gospel and led them to eternal life. This is the kind of love we Christians are to show to others.
@@alxjones Alex, that’s exactly what a hypocritical statement is. i need advice as a bisexual (and demiboy), i worship god and i am catholic however i did not choose to be either of these, i just felt like these are what i really am. i am biologically a girl, and my parents are strict Christians anyways so im not able to act out loving the same sex. my question is, its unchangeable for me to become 'normal' than what i feel and identify as. would god still love me either way? show mercy and forgive me for this unchangeable sin? or will i forever be considered a sinner for something i can't help but feel? am i still able to be considered a Christian? i need your opinions thank you, may god be with you
God still loves you no matter what! But He wants you to get rid of all sin in your life because sin leads to separation from God on earth and then eternal separation after we pass on. If you believe in Jesus and confess with your mouth that He is your Lord and Savior, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). You are still a Child of God! You will go to Heaven if you believe! But if you continue to live in this sin, you may not be able to dig deeper into God's Word and share the truth with others if you are living in sin, and if you know that you are sinning, you cannot just leave it be. You have to have the heart to repent and be convicted by the Holy Spirit. If you truly want to give up your sinful ways, read your Bible and pray. Talk to God about it and He will help you. You don't have to label yourself as anything. Believing in Jesus is all that matters. I hope this helps you! May God continue to guide you in all your ways and make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:6). Blessings, Alayeet.
I think you misunderstood me, I don’t care about other peoples relationships, unless they are apart of the body of Christ. I don’t hold people who don’t follow Jesus to the same standard that I hold of Christians to (this is a principle we see in scripture) That being said, I do care about truth, and Christians taking a stand for it. I believe that the agenda promoted during the month of June is destructive, and christians can’t support it. The Bible says to not conform to the pattern of this world, but renew our minds in Christ, and this video is my urge for my brothers and sisters in Christ to do just that.

Do you enjoy RUclips well in the bible women aren’t allowed to be a breed winner
I’m going to specifically avoid anything colored in rainbow for pride month
There is no such thing as unconditional love, think about it if God loved unconditionally, there wouldn’t be a such thing as a eternal hellfire.
All sin is equally condemned. Not just this.
@@Tzimiskes3506 that doesn't answer my question.
@@Forest_Haze42 Well it does. You asked if this was worse and i said no. All sin is worse. God loves us all but love ≠ approval of everything. Repentance and Godly sorrow is the answer. John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

I have a (genuine) question for Christians then:
Is it part of gods design that gay people are gay? If yes, why would a merciful god design people that way (to suffer, to not be able to marry one they love)? And if it’s not part of god’s design, then are there some things outside of god’s control?
No, God does not design people to be gay. He gave people free will, (being able to make decisions independently.)
I’m not too sure about what God can and can’t control. But I personally believe that he can control everything.

@@whoopsdidntmeantoyeah.. eve isn’t trans. I must agree with you here.
Repent lady that soul is DARK
You're cherry picking the bible. Jesus's purpose is not yours. An eye for an eye is gods justice not yours. Jesus said "love your neighbor as yourself". That's explicit. I pray you remember pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before the fall. Your using religion to engender malice against a marginalized group is disgusting.
And depending on the version of the bible, 'he shall not lie with a man' or whatever is actually a mistranslation of 'he shall not lie with a boy' aka don't be a pedo. That particular version of the bible says nothing about being hateful toward gay people.

Also, it isn’t killing the greatest sin and for years people response to people breaking the man with the man was literally to kill that person or torch them aren’t they therefore committing the greatest sin
And is there another one where it literally says if a woman is not a virgin by the time she is married she she’ll be stoned to death by the public
I’m just curious, I’m just trying to understand all this stuff, never made any sense to me at all when I was forced to go to church and indoctrinated by Christian beliefs

Saying you’re a lesbian and a Christian is an oxymoron that doesn’t exist in Christianity. Being a Christian means abiding by the word of God and the practice of homosexuality is antithetical to our beliefs. ……Just a footnote: we can actually control who we love.
Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18)
I am not unhappy with my sex, I was just making an example and happened to make a typing error. Sometimes I’ve thought it’d be nicer to be a boy but never have I questioned if God made me the wrong sex or tried to be a boy or presented myself as a male. I am certainly more tomboyish than my sisters, but not all girls need to love flowers and skirts to be a girl.
Christians should not be telling people “I’ll only love you if you conform to my beliefs.” I desperately want you to see the objective truth and believe in Christ, but if you do not, I still love you. That doesn’t mean I will leave you to your sin though, I will still share the gospel with you but it’s up to God to do the rest.

Jesus says to love your enemy as yourself. Study the new testament not the old testament.
Hey Katherine, please don’t base your whole refute on an assumption, because I read the New Testament every day! And yes, we are supposed to love our enemies as ourself, but we are supposed to order our loves, and put God at the top which means our sin needs to submit to the truth of Gods word.
I’m asexual so I do believe I’m in the safe zone.

❤well done!

In hyberbole it says "That whatever hinders us from yielding that obedience to God which he requires in his law, ought to be cut off"
. It is here, however, that Jesus is pressing us to think through what must be cut off in order to eliminate hindrances from obedience to God.❤
I wish you the best.
He says to warn you. Repent or end up in Hell. Period. Take Eternal Life Or Leave It. The Choice Is Yours.
Please tell me how Ava cherry picked the Bible, and how members of the LGBTQ community have been minding their own business, and how this video is an attack because I’ve been looking and I just don’t see anything.

Condemning and criminalizing a group of people who fail to carry out acts of hatred or harm, and just want to exist is purely unjust.
Thanks for doing this
Well, aren't you sweet.
Thank you so much for sharing. All the Glory goes to God.

How do reconcile the idea that atheism promotes rape, genocide and slavery when there's nothing wrong with according to you.
Love thy neighbor is the one the trumps them all 🙏
No, love, the Lord with all your heart soul, mind and strength is the one that trumps them all, and in order to love the Lord with all of you, you have to give up the parts of you that deny His truth and the freedom He offers us from sin. Why on earth did you end up in my feed. Reminder, you're not doing any of this for Jesus.
So what you’re saying is I can’t be happy because of your religion. That’s the same thing as saying you can’t have a cookie because I’m on a diet.

All I could say about Christians harming members of the LGBTQ community is that these Christians are not loving in the way Christ exemplified. We are not to accept the lifestyles of these people, but we are not to hate them either. my question is, its unchangeable for me to become 'normal' than what i feel and identify as. would god still love me either way? show mercy and forgive me for this unchangeable sin? or will i forever be considered a sinner for something i can't help but feel?
am i still able to be considered a Christian? i need your opinions
thank you, may god be with you
God still loves you no matter what!
