The town has changed a lot, with a lot of retirees from elsewhere moving here for the lower taxes and milder weather. The monsoon is getting dryer and the winds are getting stronger. State and City sales tax is up to 9.2 percent.
I love your videos. I’ll be in Tucson in a week and a half, never been there before, and you are definitely priming me for my arrival. I’m absolutely falling in love with southeast Arizona, but don’t think I’d ever want to move there. But visiting? Absolutely!!
That’s right, Diane. You’ll be here soon. It is a great place to visit. I lived in Tucson for two years in the 70s, but didn’t come south to Cochise County until 2014 for a winter. That’s when I fell in love with this area. :-)
