I agree with you. Visually Devil Savior looks the best. But if I want something to play with, Studio Series is the best. Now we just gotta wait for Mechanical Alliance to release all of their Constructicons and then we'll find out which of the Three Devastators is the Best.
this set looks great. dont have the cash to fork out for them nor the space to display it but i have the studio series one and yeah the hips are garbage. i took the foam pieces that came with the DNA Designs upgrade for Scorponock and put them in the ratchets of the hips and they are solid now. He doesnt have any stability issues any more. Great review! =)
@@dulizardglasses3170 I got him like 3 months ago I transformed him to every mode once then left him as a fucking head if I could say how much I hate split I would Fuck Split. Rn all I need is longhaul for devastator but FUCK split no figure has ever cost me so much pain.

Thank you so much for all of your reviews and JT I's. Last summer I completely took it apart in the vehicle mode for review and just put it all back into combine mode with your videos thank you so much. Absolute perfection nothing broken even did surgery on compressor & split.
Geeze...the sheer SIZE of this beast! Where can you even display him? That's a centerpiece. Have him a display on the dinner table, invite guests, don't explain the (wrecking) balls.
G1 version notes: • Still amazing to look at. Overall, a great set with some fixes compared to the original. Although, they should have went a step further to fix Split and Giant Axe completely.
so fun fact in the offical movie like tidbits they explain devestator CAN in fact stand up but its hell on his joins so he prefers to hunch, so designingthe figure wit hthe intent to stand up, something he annonically can do, is wise
@@CuppaLLX he does stand on 2 legs briefly while fighting skids and mudflap, but yeah his sheer weight utterly crushes his legs to where they can’t support him anymore so he has to walk on all fours
@@jaycob1830 It's even funnier because, when standing upright, he is the tallest of the Bayverse bots, provided you ignore the Toy Storyline. If you don't, then he is the second tallest, shorter only than Depthcharge. Who, in the Bayverse toyline, transforms into a missile destroyer and stands 150 feet tall, 50 above Devastator when he is upright. Even better, due to having a similar body-shape to Ironhide, Depthcharge can actually stand upright the entire time he is in robot mode.
This figure looks awesome. ^^ One important thing to note: The weight issue is actually movie accurate. According to official information, while he CAN stand on two legs, it's actually difficult for him which is why we only really see him on all fours. Just a fact that's probably already been stated in the comments, but I really wanted to point out. XD
Now to adding payload, scrapmetal and buckethead all together with the other 7 to complete the whole team plus to get the full 10 team combination of devastator
I've got the g1 colored version. Unfortunately giant axe broke. He stays together but one of his treads snapped off the ratchet while putting them together
Sorry can I ask you a question Emgo ? Sorry for not good at English. Could you please tell me where did you get 2 balls of steel ? I've tried to re-watch all your videos about these but I could not find you take that anywhere. Thank you :D, big fan from Vietnamese
Just got the G1 colored version, pre ordered it and they all showed up Tuesday from TFSource. Some differences: the ratchets for Compressor’s legs don’t seem to bad. Giant Axe doesn’t come with the spare clips but it doesn’t seem like they’re going to break. Split is still a nightmare to transform. The set also doesn’t come with the little Skids and Mudflap figures but that’s ok. Overall I have to agree with you on all of the reviews: Looks awesome! They’re a nightmare to transform though and the instructions leave a bit to be desired. Thank you for your review and JTI videos, it made life a lot easier.
Are the ratchets on Giant Axe still really tight and did the spare hip ratchets for Compressor still come with Paranoider and Bomber? I'm considering getting them all but I can't figure out if the G1 version is better quality
@@Im_The_Milk_God no spare ratchets. Giant axe and compressor are a little stiff but not too bad. I didn’t have to grease compressor’s hip ratchets like EmGo did. My bigger problem has been on some of the other bots with some of the joints breaking like on mixmaster the fuel tank and exhaust pipe assembly has broken on me. The other problem I had was once I had everything together my cat pushed it off the shelf. Lots of repairs required. At least three parts needed glued back in. Gorilla brand has been working better than loctite on that front. I’ve just had to learn to take it slow and gentle. I have them displayed at work and change them around a bit when I need a break.
Interms of screen accuracy SS Devastator and Trouble maker are probably both are about as accurate as they could be. If you look at the movie Devastator model it’s a mess that wouldn’t work as a figure.
One day...soon. We will have a Devastator Figurine that is so realistic and movie accurate would be a MENACE to put him together. I would love to see some key features of Devastator added... Such as: Movable Gears and Expandable Gears in his neck. I'd love to see his face get an upgrade as well, where his face can truly split to reveal the throat while the "Vortex Grinder" is active. I'd also would want to see lighting. Yes, lighting is important. His eyes are green, the lights in his neck are green too. I'd would like to see a more Posable version of the figure. With more articulation in the joints and neck. Then, Realism. Yes, Realism is key to making a transformer figurine! If this Figure can BEAT the Devil's Savior Devastator...by not only Playability, but by Artistry...IT CAN WORK! There also should be replaceable parts. Like, his damaged face. Or, maybe a completely damaged version of Devastator (When he gets shot through the neck and body by the Rail gun). While also having the Grappling Chains!
I just got the last figure to complete mine, but I can’t seem to find the support pieces?!?!?! I looked in all the boxes but I don’t see it. Which figure came with the supports if you don’t mind me asking?
Is there any difference between this Devil Saviour and the one being released currently. I know alot of people dont like Bay Devi but this thing and the upcoming version In G1 green look fresh
If your a little kid and you want a toy go for the studio series. If you want a centerpiece accurate devastator go for ds.. If you ain't broke that is..
I lost it at 4:05 just the silence the flick and then simmons just perfect 😂
another thing to fit in the joke was j.k. simmions "you serious?" wheeze laugh

also i found it funny that the music stopped at that part of the joke

the Simmon scene is gold, the silence, the stare, THE ENEMY'S SCROTUM !
Gotta love the accurately done ENEMY SCRUTUM
He had big wrecking balls
How does he even have balls anyway? I don't think any of the eight component Constructicons had a ball mace weapon?
I think Hightower did in the concept art, but he only had one.
Man, Emgo really had some fun with the Simmons mini fig at 4:06
I can't believe they even gave him the ENEMY SCROTUM
The enemy scrotum came with Hightower and scrapmetal figure
"Mean robots suck,"
-Skids 2009
The horror he had to go through for this. Especially split and giant axe
those two are bad but the entire line in general seem to be nightmares to transform
"Did you do it?"
Emgo: "Yes."
"What did it cost?"
Emgo: "Everything."
A moment of silence, and then I realize that you area attaching. . . THE ENEMY SCROTUM! Simmons made me nearly lose my crap.
he literally has balls of steel.
With the stand support in the middel of the 2 wrecking balls hanging out, gives agent Simon a pount to tell 😁
Thank you for including the very important part.....balls of steel. This is for sure insane and spot on.
Devastator makes a good point there at the end? It's funny how it's so movie accurate he can't even stand upright without help!
