Singing: *Ivri Lider and Nasrin Kadri* Song: _"Me'Ha'Kfar El Ha'kikar"_ (From the Village to The Square). (In honour of the 398 Druze soldiers who have been killed defending Israel). It was inspired by two Druze soldiers who were murdered by terrorists, the song was released for Israeli memorial day.
Ok, so, the 2 Druze soldiers were in border police, they were murdered by terrorists at the Temple Mount (near the gate mentioned in the song). Their names were Command Sergeant Major Hayil Satawi, 30, and Command Sergeant Major Kamil Shanaan, 22. Satawi had a wife and a 3 week old son. The people on stage with the singers are the families of the victims, they're also in the music video. At the end one of the fathers talks about thanking them, the singers, the Jews that came, all of Israel, and that the song touches him in the heart. And from his heart he thanks them. (There are no subtitles, so I'm paraphrasing). I translated/transliterated the song, the parts with no transliteration are in Arabic. I'm learning Hebrew and it's late at night, so there's bound to be mistakes... But overall it should be ok.
I worry about you my child
I'm scared for you from my country
It's what sets us aside in the world
Call me brother, a friend to approach
Korim li ach, chaver lekarav
Call me loved in every situation
Korim ahuv bechol matsav
Call me to stand with you in the mourning
Korim li la'amod itchem ba'evel
Hakol sheli nis'ar
My voice is agitated
Mehakfar El Hakikar
From the village to the square
(Our tears flow in the river)
Tikre'u li kshe'sharim
You'll call me when singing
When pain falls
Kshe'ko'avim et ha'noflim

Gam li yesh makom
Even for me there's a place
Ba'chelka shel Elohim
In G-d's part
Ha'kir omed sham ve'shotek
The wall stands there and is silent
Ha'lev amok bifnim tso'ek
The heart is deep inside shouting

(I'm with you)
sing a bit about my pain
So no one can separate between us
El mul shaar hash'vatim
Facing the Tribal Gate (of the Temple Mount).
A chomat magen al ha'chayim
A protection wall on the life
Safa achat tsadadim shonim beneinu
One language, different sides between us
