I bought my wife a 2007 last year and drove 250 miles to pick it up. I liked it so much driving it back home that I went out a week later and bought myself a 2014 FJ for myself. I plan on keeping them a long time and prep the 2014 for a little over landing and build it a little more off road capable, as if it really needs that. Love the FJ Cruiser!
Yes I too love the unique and quirky look of my FJ. I love climbing into it every time I feel like a tank commander). I love how you can make it your own with after market mods and all the after market options still available for a 13 year old vehicle. I LOVE, L-O-V-E how easy it is to change the oil on my FJ. It takes me ore time to get prepped for the oil change than to do it. I have an 07! Last but not lease the off road capability is great. I am still learning, but she has taken me places and brought me back each time and I sometimes wonder afterwards, how did I get there and back? BONUS LOVE! Putting patches on the ceiling!!
People complying about lack of power are insane. I came to adulthood in the 89’s where tiny gutless engines and planned obsolescence were at their worst.
I love my 07, after the three inch lift and larger tires, I lost some hp but the TRD Supercharger fixed everything. With 57K miles on it, I get 17 city and 20 hwy, not the best mileage but since it's been paid off for years it sure beats a car payment. I keep it looking new and have been offered 44k cash for it, no thanks. What would I spend the money on to replace it, a Jeep? 😅😂🤣
Hard to say... they are still building it in other countries so a 2nd gen seems possible and I could see them bringing that to the US if it happens. But they have also shown some concepts of the FT-4X which is more of a crossover that might be their next attempt at a niche off roader

What was the reason for driving so far to get both? Is there a magical FJ place to purchase them????
I'm gonna say it again. Those gun metal rims are 🔥!
What I don't like about mine is the current owner still owns it

The 2 things I dont like about mine is the squeaky throwout bearing and the 10 - 13 mpg I get from it. Idk how its so low
Always wanted one but I heard the visibility is terrible
Those wheels are sick!!! What brand and model are they?
SCS SR8s

Is that a particular silver? Thanks for the vid! Awesome vehicle.
I believe its Silver Fresco.. the silver changes from the older models slightly for 2010+ models like mine
We have a green 2012!!! We LOOOOOVE it!!! Enjoy! 😊
Love the green!
Do you think Toyota will bring it back (like Ford did with the Bronco)?

where did you get your wheels at? those look sick
I bought them from my local Toyota Dealership. They are sometimes available online but hard to get a hold of.
Nike, do you live in Bend by any chance? I swear you drove by me a few weeks ago.
Sure do
