Yes. All documents that are not in Japanese need to be translated.

Can you plz answer What that 5 yrs means? Is it we should have been living here for more than five years or we have to be working here for more than five years?
I believe it is 5 years of paying taxes but of course, this is a case-to-case basis. The best thing to do is to schedule a consultation to talk about your situation. 😊
is having a different status of residence affect your period of stay?
I stayed in japan for 4 years as a student and now got my work visa. so I'm not sure if that counts as staying 5 years.
Time spent as student visa is not counted.

Hey do u know that we get in documents in our country (birth certificate and all) how they check is that true documents ??
Because Japanies embassy don’t need foreign minister certificate they only need traslate one only
Every country has requirements to ensure it is the original. If you consult they will give you the list of requirements for your country 🙂

Hi! May I know how many years have you been in Japan before you applied for the naturalization? Someone told me that I can only apply for it after becoming PR. 😅 Is it true? Ill be on my fifth year next year and I wanted to try to apply. 🥺
Hi! I grew up in Japan so, I have been in Japan since I was not even a year old but, I applied for Japanese Naturalization after 5 years of working in Japan. You do not need to be a permanent residence to apply for naturalization, I was on a working visa when I applied, and got approved :) Just make sure you meet all the criteria for naturalization. In your fifth year, try to schedule a consultation for you to know your requirements and whether you are eligible. I heard that Permanent Residence is harder to get approved.

Just a simple piece of advice before you apply if your current visa is only valid for a year. Get a 3 years visa first to avoid emotional damage and waste your money like I do

Hi! Is it much better to prepare by yourself? I heard if you ask help from lawyers there is a higher chance that your application will fail
I do not think that is true. Hiring a lawyer who is an expert on Japanese naturalization definitely helps. I just opted to prepare my documents and have the lawyer review the papers to save some money 😅 They also answered my question and gave me advice. So if you have the means, I advise you to get their service as it will make your life easier but make sure to take time in choosing which lawyers you will ask for help.

Hi! I think they are looking for an N3 level, but more so on actual Japanese level. All the communication will be in Japanese so you should be able to communicate and understand Japanese.. for the exam, this will depend, only if they think they need to assess your Japanese level. I hope this helps but I recommended to check their requirements again 🙂

How I write essay please teach me
I think there is no rule on how the essay should be written. What I wrote in mine was how I came to Japan, my experience in Japan, and why I want to be Japanese. If you are not confident, there are many law firms that reviews the essay, or even write the essay for you 😊
Can minors become Japanese when their parent is working in japan on work visa?

Not that I know of. If they do, I believe it was just the area of the address I provided but not my apartment.
