Remixer here, I wasn't expecting this to do so well and thought I might as well put some sort of commentary on what I did. - I made the audio in GarageBand because it works and I can't be bothered to get a more "proper" software. - Psychic is one of my favorite islands and is overall one of the best in the game. The designs of the island and monsters and all the sounds are amazing, and the way it was revealed from Fire Frontier and started the Magicals is incredibly important for the game. Unfortunately, Psychic's composing isn't the best and the verses are too cluttered. I tried to address this without "fixing" how the song is short, which is one of its strengths. - Boo'qwurm was originally planned for the intro and the first half of Oaktopus' verse, but the Shanty track didn't sound right and I can't properly compose. I did however leave space for her there to add in the future. - Dipsters were similarly cut due to my inability to use them properly, since I can't be bothered to go through 20+ sound files and arrange them in a nice way. - I made Bonkers, Oaktopus and Gloptic's chorus tracks louder, as they tend to get drowned out. - I also made Toe Jammer louder and put the bass in the Intro, which is something I really regret. He hurts the ears which is unfortunately a flaw with psychic as a base. - Yuggler playing during the chorus and Poppette playing during Flowah's verse was inspired by the version of Psychic Island from the OST Volume 2. It showed me that the percussionists could work in other verses, and is what made me put Tapricorn in the intro and second half of Oaktopus' verse. - Rooba was experimented with quite a lot since I hate duet sounds and she's very loud compared to Rootitoot, being able to change the entire feel of a verse. I initially just barely put her in at the very end of the chorus, but decided to just have her replace Rootitoot there instead to make the volume more consistent.
