Benny Harvey. RIP. gone but not forgotten
who is benny harvey
@@khlothostonney5760
I had the pleasure of meeting him at a charity do once. He was surprisingly down to earth and VERY funny.
Rest in Peace Big Man
He was a cracking big guy. I stayed next door to him in Yoker for a while.
RIP bigman.
You're kidding? When did he die?
Tribal Energy at the Rocket Holloway road - 93 ish - I'm 50 now and still love this shit
I got my first taste of Hardfloor when I was 16 years old, I'm now 43 and still listening to them.!!
That's a hard me too, same age thereabouts although, at 16 i was still more Kraftwerk than Hardfloor 😉✌️
I was about 20 now 50.
@@GhostyGu You heard about Kraftbach? They did a few remixes for other bands.
Same here
57 here - just the same fam
I've still lost in Hardfloor's silver box since 1995..... Acid madness and experience made my life change comletely.
Probably the most stomping techno tune ever!
Genius!!!
i wonder if oblivion battery was tryin to reference this in the start of ep3
thx 4 letting us know 🥰
Watching that episode rn and was trying to find the song and came across this so I think you’re right!
yeah they really did reference it
Yeah I was curious too
Its so delightfully squelchy and bouncy, god, I love this little silver box so much
Czesc! I fail to understand how can I be so obsessed with this sound. I just can't help myself whenever I hear it
Highlight.
IT'S A #1 TRACK. It opened my eyes to the future. Spaceships and living outside the realm of spacetime. Commanders of the engine start it up and all you have to do is close your eyes and effing move.
The like button doesn't go high enough for how hard this track goes. One of my best records in my collection..
This has to be the best acid trance song that was ever created by the best artists to have ever played on a 303. Simply the best!
Armando and Hardfloor always make best acidlines in every track
Summertime, south of France, 90's , sound system in the forest and......
Ihr seit einfach die LEGENDEN !!!!!
From the mighty Buenos Aires, Argentina we say : Long Live HARDFLOOR! we are patiently waiting for you guys to come here. We fking love the 303 sound.
I saw them at Ayr pavilion in early 90,s no one had heard of them , this was their opening tune one of the best nights ever , I been huge fan since
Hearing tunes like this back in the day was what it was all about. No where near it these days, special times.
Thanks Hardfloor 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I remember the first time I heard this; DJ Brad Cole played it on his weekly show... I was hooked... anybody lose their mind to this track?
Why can't I stop listening to this? HELP!
Godfathers of Acid.
Could not get much harder 👍 Love Hardfloor one of their best tracks
I was at the love parade in Berlin in 99 and one of the DJ’s dropped this, the place went nuts. Proper acid stomper!
dayuuuuuum son :D
saw this banging techno set last year in Berlin - Izzi Bizzi (she's a mental DJ/producer) dropped Kai Traccid's - Trance and Acid . . . I was fully sober at this party, but this just dropped me . . . ended up losing my shit so much I puked up all the water I'd drunk. #AcidBangaz
I was 5-6 years old when I listened to this sound in the car with my father, we had it on a cassette at the time :) 18 years later I still listen to it
Cool dady🤪
Liebe das Album heute noch ab göttlich und besitze zum Glück die CD "TB RESUSCITATION",denn für mich ist es heute noch ein "Meisterwerk" 💖😍✌
OMEN-Nostalgie vom feinsten😊👍👍💓🔊🍀
Mind bending acid loving trance .......fantastic tune
Best fekkin build ups in the world...intense, totally no way I can listen without jumping on the build up bus, ready to drive off the cliff, into the other world of fuck knows, and wondering how the feck did I get on a bus?
Imagine how it must be for Hardfloor....Pioneers, All these awesome comments and memories 20+ years on! Takes us all back.
THANK YOU !
Good music always stands the test of time...
Aweeesomeeeeee!!!!! Toll Cross Crew. 1992. You know who you are!!!!!!!😀😀😀
I bought this CD in the early 90's and this song is still not boring. Just a masterpiece
Acidgasm - enough said 👍🗣🔥🎶🏴
Thanks Hardfloor 👍
Can see why Limmy was a fan
The entire Album is a Stone Cold CLASSIC Across all genre’s. To start with this well no words needed. HARDFLOOR LEGENDS
Set the bar high and keep raising it!
To me , this is the best acid tune ever created . Just listening to these 303s scream gives me goosebumps
I've not heard from you for a few weeks.... I was fucking 19 when I grabbed this lp... I'm now 45 and it still sounds so fresh.. You guys got me into producing everything.... Those silver boxes are glorious😎😎😎😀😀😀😀😱😰😬😨😇😇😇🤢🤢🤢🤡🤡🤠🤠🙃🤣😀😀😀😀😀
I used to get lost on the dance floor of hanger 13 Ayr in the early 90's to this timeless classic...

THOSE WERE THE DAYS
FECKIN AWESOME TRIPPY TIMES BACKFLASH
Digging through my Crates (Records) I pulled this one out and WOW! forgot how good this is. Haven't listened to this maybe since 2001.
To be honest the whole album is nectar from the gods
Nectar from the Gods albums are few and far between........this is a bold (yet correct) statement Alan, hats off to you.
Is a cracking album!
Thanks for the recommendation Limmy
Again today.
One of my all time faves!! love this tune!!
This is absolutely amazing!
I will love this track until the day I die!
Good strong LSD. And eight hours lost as an electron, bouncing around the TB’s circuit board.
Exactly.
I'll have what he's having, double. Cheers, mate
Gub a strawberry and enjoy..🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓
I saw hawtin and aquaviva do a live pa in 95 or 96 in a similar headspace and I can totally identify with the notion of feeling like electron physically travelling the signal chains and circuits of the synths. A transformative experience in my life.
Bought this Vinyl few dayz ago and it still rocks 🔉🎚🎛
Lost in the silverbox and Into the nature best tracks on this LP, got a 1993 repress with original HARTHOUSE logo and dedication to Roland 303 👍
I just got it today..
Lost in this wee silverbox for years now.. This is up with any acid tune ever made.. Thes guys are like Hendrix or fuckin Bach on the 303
These
Agree! PS, I love Hendrix and Bach!
Pure NRG!
Limmy brought me here
Aye me anaww 😬👍
just put us in a box and fire us intae space, we dont need a planet.
Immer wieder...das knallt hier Digger...wie ne Injektion vom Tierarzt...danach kannste alle Platten verbrennen...leider nicht an Bord der Voyager...da gehört es hin❤
Possibly the best track ever made. On this planet, at least.
Excellent morceau. ❤❤❤❤
Great tune on the bike!!!
Absolutely amazing :)
Hard to believe this album is nearly 30 years old.....!!!!!! That's scary.
But still a legendary album!
My dream would be to listen to a Hardfloor gig in Japan, if the country ever opens its borders again. I feel that the japanese fans have a deep appreciation for Hardfloor´s art.
Im humoured by u thinking it matters where u r.......
If you find a box and it's silver, you should enter it and find yourself lost (feel free to tweak some knobs whilst you're in there. If knobs are not your thing, then twiddle some pots. If pots are not your thing, then f*ck off).
Still a banging track after 25 years
Fucking blinding rip roaring ride.
Just discovered this shit - a member of Brisbane's original rave crew (long before my time - in an era called the lateties/early nineties) was showing me a live set by Hardfloor - good acid is timeless. Wishing there were a few more acidheads my age . . .
I must be born too late, or something, but Iggy Azaelia and fucking Rhianna just don't do it for me . . .
gimme dat acid mang ;) gimme dat 303 gimme dat fookin techno bruvva
The scene is still there, you just gotta go looking for it.
Warehouse, werde es nie vergessen. Morgens um 0700 oder so. Mate Galic haut es nochmal raus. Der Laden bebt. Janz Kölle bebte
masterpiece
and it grows and it grows and it groooooooooows BAM!
Still got this album from the original release. I.40 into this track and booom arm & neck hairs stand to attention. Truly epic.
i love this ----even if take nor lsd or any other drugs....this is a maserpiece for all mankind
Blob...Blob..Blob...👍👍, here comes the acid, good memories...❤🔊🔊🔊🔊☣☣☣☢☢☢
I remember someone saying a while back that the 909 should have been retired after this album.
You guys and Plastikman.... fucking legendary. Cheers
Hardfloor on fire
... Silver Box? I see what you did there, Adroc Thurston.
Soul ソウル omg I wonder if this is what the name came from!

Ah good ol' festive times ! :)
#1 dance track

I have absolutely no idea the first time I heard this slice of heaven because to be honest the 90s are pretty much a black out (great times though!)
kij100 if you remember the 90’s were you even there? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤪
PHEW now that's some top 303 tune
J'aime beaucoup
25 years always keep the standard high;

Awe man that's banging
Club RACHDINGUE terrace...Magical!
HeroNymous had hell of a taste in music
It's when the 303 comes in....class...
The full song is 303
Die Grossmeister der silbernen Kästchen am Werk. Seit eh & her. Hardfloor verstehen 303 - 303 versteht Hardfloor. 😎
1993😅🤙🖤
E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E ECSTASY...
this is fucking amazing
I want lost in TB-303.
It was 1995 and got a DJ tryout spot in a "rock" bar, owners told me "and we play no techno in here", to which I replied I'd play only what I wanted to and that there was "techno" and techno. First night, after I got the people very warm, I started with Josh Wink - Higher State Of Consciousness (the good version), Daft Punk - Rollin' and Scratchin' and this one. From Josh Wink's on the owners were jumping a meter high behind the bar, most positively freakin' out on the music and offered me to get hired fulltime with open bar hahaha !
Owner doesn't understand techno until that day, you've done a good job "educate" that man
Lovely story. I was fortunate to watch Hardfloor live in Trondheim between 1997-1998 iirc. What I do remember was being at the greatest musical experience of my life. Not gotten that feeling since. They was one up on that small stage, keyknobbing their way through known and unknown tracks. Fantastic.
@@jmp01a24 I have never seen HardFloor live but peaked to their tracks so many times.
I'd have Highly recommended another band but they are split up now.
Eat Static were the best live dance band I ever saw for ten years but they have split. Now they are one guy but he might still be excellent.
They were phenomenal at their peak. Lost vagueness Glasto 2003 was ridiculous. Amazing night.
Also Glasto 95 Just after Carl Cox.
Sublime.
Best Live experience ever.
Luv and Peace.
@@ianedmonds9191 I wish I would been able to be there with you. A lot of familiar names you mention there. It was the glory days of electronic music, we just didn't know it fully back then. But we that loved the music and vibes kept the memories alive and planted seeds. I still enjoy the music today, but also a lot of the new artists that have emerged the last 10 years. So much talent around. And you don't need a record deal to make it... Just talent, a room with a computer & internet is all you need now. The selection of virtual instruments have become so good its hard to hear the difference between computer software or if it's played on special hardware, like the legendary analog synths and boxes (101, 303, 808, etc.).
What bar was it???
_Sick._
Silverbox aka the 303!
Quality track.
Bizarrely this appears in the soundtrack on Netflix's House of Cards. Season 2 Episode 13, about 20 mins in. Took me by surprise, given it's an American political drama, released in 2014.
+catsfuckingdogs **Yip** :) but how do you know about it? since the sound didn´t really came through in the scene....
+HRDFLR I was sitting watching it with my wife and she said "I recognise that music in the background. What is it?". I hadn't noticed because I was too busy listening to the dialogue but as soon as she pointed it out it was obviously Lost In The Silver Box.
You're right that it's quite hard to make out. If you listen to it with headphones it's a lot clearer.
So how did this come about? Did they approach you and ask for the rights to include it?
And do I win a prize for spotting it? Or more to the point does my wife? She's erm a big Hardfloor fan and tells me she'd love loads of free vinyl. :-) Not this album though. I, erm I mean she bought it back in '93.
catsfuckingdogs
Yeah, they officially licensed this from us.i was so blown away because i´ve loved sesson 1 by that time....when i watched season 2 to find out where they´ve used our track i couldn´t hear it :)
so i wrote an email to the guy who licensed it and he told me which episode and which scene but i still couldn´t figure it out.... LOL
+catsfuckingdogs
big respect for recognising that! even after listening knowing its lost in the silverbox it's hard for me to recognise.
**we´ve had 2 tracks in CSI Miami.....2 differnet episodes but i don´t know which season.......**
pure awsomeness sweat fest :) x
so muss das laufen
