This was a game the competition needed. Saints were favorites, but the sport really needed a competitive match, and Leeds were still in it for much of the game , until Saints pulled away at the end. Hope Tomkins is back for next week: we need the final to be competitive too. Hope we can win it, but hoping more for an entertaining match.
It was never in doubt who was going to make the grand final saints and catalans in a league of their own this year as for the rest of the league the quality has been shocking.
