I bought a G240 to replace my BGW and directly connected my unifi router directly to it, works great.

And an additional question do you know if you can get your own separate modem and router with att fiber?

Ok so these are att products. They will be installed at your residence/business.
      You don’t buy these.
You can buy your own router and connect it to the gateway. Not the Ont.
I will be doing a video on how to connect a router to your gateway.

i believe that you can use your own router but you are “forced” to get the bgw320 gateway with the residential service. Even if you use like a media converter or a router with sfp port, it wont work because of how their service is configured.

    Magabit, not Megabyte.
