Always hard to watch videos of Friesians through the tears in my eyes. Composure + fire + grace + power: the embodiment of a noble steed. A tragedy was averted; the loss of this breed is unthinkable.

Truly horse loving people throughout the whole footage. What a great invention creating a horse buggy, designed to not burden the backs of the horse. Its heart warming to see people get proactive doing good where the health of these animals are concerned. It gives the horse new freedom and enjoy their journey along side of humans. Its about time don't you think..Gotta treat them like royalty in my book :)

Horse buggies and sleds have been used for centuries .
Not only to unburden the horse , but to carry loads and people , more then they can carry on their backs

I really like what Gunther Frohlich did with his invention or "produced a coach for the first time
that doesn't burden the horses back , where the horse doesn't have to bear weight. or a tight shaft doesn't stress them
or the traction rope pinch them. A well-trained dressage horse would flinch at the thought but this is quite the
opposite a very very wide shaft where the ropes run more or less through the tubes that way one can do good dressage
work even in the curves. Here a horse can bend and flex with a combination of new suspension systems and individually
adjustable lateral shafts. The horse enjoys a new freedom and ease during riding even cross country...or even in the
sea we ride with the Friesians."

A beautiful documentary, well made. Thank you! These Friesian horses are very beautiful, majestic. The description of the Friesian horse's character, its gentle nature showing its true colours when its treated with respect, fits mine as well. I'm proud to be Friesian on my mother's side of the family :)

Exquisite ! Our daughter's Friesen sold to USA where he can be trained full time. Here in Canada winters too dark and cold unless you can afford an indoor rink full time. Not fair to the horse . We continue to enjoy watching videos of his progress from the buyers .

I'm not that much into horses, but I've seen a Friesian first hand... and that's The Horse! I mean, that's the horse that any romantic imagine when he thinks about a knight or a noble... It's just such a powerful and yet graceful creature... it's hard to describe: looking at this horse in a screen is *not* the same, that's for sure!

Thanks for uploading these, absolutely beautiful. I have always dreamed of having a Friesian. I was just wondering is there a part 3, part 2 ended abruptly, also, what song is on around the 23 minute mark of the part 2 video? Thanks again, this was a very learning experience of the origin of this beautiful breed.

If I were going to do a video about the Most Beautiful Horse Breed in the World. I would make sure the Video was "Crystal Clear" and that there was sound to go with it, not music or someone talking, just the sound of the horse going thru it's movements.

Once again as I have asked this same question about these videos and most if not all videos on RUclips about Friesians. Why are the Videos either "Out of Focus" or "Have No Sound" or "Both"? Is there a reason for this or do people just not care about the quality of the Videos they Post? My Eyesight is bad enough and I'm sure watching videos that are "Out of Focus" isn't good for my Eyes.
